MagLev As Subway 1.2

It doesnt work... I cant plop it anywhere

It just works as maglev. It's not a subway actually :)

Seems to the game engine allows to build not only underground rails, but also the elevated metro. But there is only underground station. Is it possible to create an aboveground station (in any technical form - modmakers will support this), between which could pave the bridges instead of tunnels (tied to the points of roads, but not connecting with them, as in subway mod)?

 

This is the first mod that actually adds compelling content to SimCity. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

I plop the station and tried to connect it but it keeps showing and wont lent me build the tracks "Start and finish bridge on land!"

hi there I am having lots of trouble with this mod I have tried it in lots of test cities now and it never works.

yes I can make the stations and I can run the tracks and I have even found a really nice way of using the subway on low level land that looks great. but and there is a but when the game is playing my sims wait at the station to goto work but never is there a train that comes to get them now the last one I done had 8 stations one group in one side of the map for res and in the other side of the map for indst. if I clicked on the station it says there is no one waiting but when I view the population map it says there is between 10 and 20 waiting at each station. so im not really very sure what to heck is wrong could it be a confict ??? please someone help me im busting to use this mod

Same here, you can plop only the station but not the tracks.

Wanted to say thanks for All the great work This mod Has me all excited to Finally get subways. But I cannot get the sub tracks to show It'll only lay maglev track have claimed new citys tried in all new and old citys with full restarts in between. IDK What went wrong... Guess I dont get Subways after all

same of the subways are working same are not working how can i fix this please help

Could you do it without COT ? Because I want to use this mode but I don't want to buy COT... I hate the futuristic style... This not worth the money for me  :S

Hi, just after some help please...

 

Same as shanemitch333, I am having trouble with this mod showing up in the game. As explained above it seems I need to decompress the RAR file - is this correct?

 

Presently when I download the file I don't get any option to decompress, unlike the 'zip' file, which I have the option o unzip and move files across.

 

From reading above it seems I need to download a RAR file unzipping program - again is this correct.

 

I searched for WinRAR and got to their web page, however when I went to download my virus protection advised that the page is Malicious, are you guys able to advise if this is indeed the case or can you recommend a RAR unzipping program that is going to be safe to install.

 

I am also having the same problem with the pedestrian paths, which is also a RAR file, so I assume I need to do the same with that as well.

 

further, do I need to delete any previous download of this maglev as subway in order for the update to function, or is this one in addition to the original?

 

Sorry for all the questions, just want top get these files working.

Currently only having one problem after the most recent update. The stations frequently report that they need workers for no reason. The stations work perfectly fine and it seems to just be a UI issue.

if maglev can link elevated railway not go through the underground railway that's perfect    :-D

How can I demolish a track? Budollze doesnt seem to detect it...

 the subway tools are installed but the maglev is still there.. no sign of the subway entrance... any ideas?
