Wow, you definitely took a lot of effort to get this done. At least on the screenshots this castle looks very good. Keep up the good work!

me again, after trying it at once !:-) : the only problem is the rectangular shape of the tree sides of the lot which seems to impact the shadows of ploppable trees there (they're straight). Perhaps, if the lot were made paintable with MMP trees ?  But apart from that, it's still : WOW.

Don't think that would be possible, the trees were rendered along with the castle, and doing a castle without trees will require another render, etc. Not impossible, but hard. HD trees would be a faster solution.

Wow. This model is really stunning. What a beautiful and interesting castle, too! You can really be proud of yourself.

However, the rectangular lot with the rendered trees does limit its flexibility. An ideal solution would be like for this castle: A small dummy building that only requires a tiny core lot, the visible castle as a prop that overhangs the lot to all sides, and the lower parts as a foundation. This way the castle could be plopped anywhere, and the terrain around it can be sculpted with MMP stuff and mayor-mode / God-mode trees. It would require a new render, of course - without the trees and surroundings, and the model would have to be cut in two parts: an upper half as prop, and a lower half as foundation. Another BAT where you can see this scheme at work is Darknono's BoA Center.

All this being said, it would be great if you had a BAT thread here. We could give you hints and advice before you render.

I'd really like a version without modeled trees, but this looks very nice.

What an amazing piece of work!   Please keep up the good work.  Finally...something different and more original.   Are you able to do casino's or something flashy like NY Times Square, something with flashing lights, for the strip?   Just curious.  :)   Great work!!!
