EDIT 08-02-2013 : Looks like I forgot one dependency, the base texture is from Moonlight and not SHK, sorry about that ! Check the dependency list below.

 

I finally decided to upload some of my lot work, here is the first set.

Just three transit enabled parking lots, you might have seen an example of this in the "Montbard" update.

We already have a lot of good parkings lots here, not always with a realistic transtition between the road and the parking textures.

3 transit enabled parking Lots (6x2)

  - 2 with euro markings

  - 1 with yellow markings

Install

 

Unzip in the plugin folder - "Documents\Plugins".

 

Quick note

 

This is my first "official" upload, if I did anything wrong please tell me as I plan to upload much more of my lot work ! :D

Good looking and nice idea but I really dislike the white fence. It's not sleek.

Otherwise, fantastic.

Aside from the white fences, well done! That shouldn't be too difficult to change in LE though for those who download this.

This is very nice.  Can't wait to download it once I get my computer up and running again.  I am curious, which terrain mod you are using?  It is amazing!

Is it functionnal ? If it is, I download immediatelty !!

If by functional you mean transit enabled : Yes

Otherwise, the lot works as a park I think, as it has the same file description as Paeng parkings.

Under what menu do these show up?  Also...you mentioned that your using the Appalacian Terrain Mod,  I am as well and it does not look as good as in the pictures....hhmm..I wonder why?

2/5 for a non .zip file. 5/5 for awesome lotting. These don't happen to be timed props, do they? And perhaps some overhanging entry props would have been more appropriate, since TE lots can cause trouble with the transit network.

 

They look great though, esp. with people in the lot, something that's always missing from these sets and they also happen to be the one MMP I can never find in my menu's, despite my plugins folder's arguments to the contrary.

Thanks ! Misc transportation menu, at the bottom.

Not sure why it looks better here, I'm running it in 1920x1080, I guess it helps.

- .zip or .rar is pretty much the same no ? Should I use .zip ?

- No timed props as I focus on HD car props, and those are not timed. I prefer to have a good looking lvl6 zoom ! :)

- Overhanging textures would have been better yeah, maybe, but I'm just a simple lotter ! Also, overhanging textures as props have issues with shadows most of the time.

Really? I thought that was the Berner Oberland Terrain mod :lol: Well, it may not be, but I thought it was judging by the minty green grass.

Really? I thought that was the Berner Oberland Terrain mod :lol: Well, it may not be, but I thought it was judging by the minty green grass.

Ok I got it, I was wrong, this is actually the Sudden Valley terrain mod from Gobias. But I still use Lowkee33 Cliff and Water textures from the Appalacian, cause I love them, and Gobias Cape Cod for the beach mod.

I'm having a problem with the base texture is not showing up. I'm getting a transparent base which makes it look like all the cars are parked in lawn parking lot.

 

I've used the Reader to double check that I have all the deps installed, and also tried using the "zzz_" prefix to the folder in the root plugins folder and still nothing. 

 

Am I doing something wrong?

 

EDIT: I've even removed all plugins besides the parking lots and their deps, and still have the missing base texture.

Sorry about that, I thought I was using SHK base textures, but 1dependency is missing, this is actually Moonlight HD textures :

Are they for both LHD and RHD or only for RHD?

I am not sure but I guess it is for both, I don't think a TE lot have an effect on that, as you have to drag the road to make it work.
