About This File

(SIMPLE LOT EDITOR EYE CANDY)

Ever wondered how you can fill that irritating space between the 4, 6, 8 and 10 lane freeways and still look realistic?

Well we have the answer!

This comes with 6 lots; 2 end pieces (one with trash nd one with out) 2 pieces with lights (one with litter) and 2 plain filler (1 with litter)

You need the latest NAM.

Drag the file to your plugin folder and it will appear in the Parks Menu

(sorry mah english isnt too good)

Enjoy! :D

1/5, Not very creative, just looks like a quick lot editor job (no offence intended) but, it could be so much better with a little time and effort.

Oh well... I've seen better, though here's a tip for you - get a slope mod to make your RHWs look even better!

It's alright, though to be honest it's very bland. A ditch or something would've been much better, or add some junk or litter or a shrub or something. It also looks like a road which is kinda weird.

Along the line's of what others have said, "It's alright." I would make, at the least, 1 more lot. And end piece so we don't have those wonky cut-offs there are when you're using eye-candy lots. Hell you could even expand it. Make a corner one, so people can use this for more than just rhw's. Make diagnol ones. Use props or something to show the direction they should be placed. Give them custom icons in the menu. Organize them in the menu.
There are plenty of options to make this more than just a simple lot. :)

Interesting, though normally when our local roads are divided, most times you will see a line of bush (wide separation), row of trees, perhaps on top of a dirt mound (thinner separation), or at the very least concrete barriers with a shoulder on each side (minimal separation). Perhaps food for thought for next versions?

Mmm.. doesn't look too bad, actually fits for highways crossing slums or poor areas. But I could be improved more, add trees for example.

This is getting closer to a more finished product, though I would've still preferred a ditch. Good for a third world city maybe but a otherwise a bit limited. Still something like this was needed rather badly. Highways in Simcity 4 are always so generic.

Actually... Even though it's not creative it still goes nice with my highways... I usually have C-Trains running up the middle... But this is a nice filler for what I need! Make some more with a little variety! I'll be looking forward to it if so! :)

Lets think outside the box here. These although simple and quite honestly I could have done them myself ARE becoming better and better in quality. The direction they are going in scream 'dystopia' or even 'idiocracy' styled lots. These could be handy if you were for example trying to exemplify a 'hyper'Detroit that is going so fast downhill that even the highways are littered with trash. And also, the sides of highways aren't exactly the cleanest of places ;)

The way I see it this goes two ways; You make them wonderful and highly exaggerated examples of trashy medians in a backwards society (think outside the box folks, not every one of your cities needs to be clean and pristine, geeze people) OR you clean it a little and shove in some shrubs to tame those "omgz it doesn't exist now therefore it can't exist evar" people ( >.> that's what you all sound like btw)

Only reason I bother with trying here is that you have visibly tried to improve upon it :P Can't wait to see further improvement perhaps?

P.S. go start a thread :D

Honestly, I enjoy this. Although it's nothing too special, when are filler lots? (plazas, alleys, etc)

I like it and will use it! Per the above comments, I would also suggest expanding to producing a ditch with HD textures, maybe some brush.

Just one of those things, if your city isnt super clean and a Utopia you get bad ratings, nevermind realism

The end pieces you added are not the best for a median. They should tapper to an end, not be a straight wall. The idea of a median barrier is to prevent deadly crashes, not provide a wall to crash into at high speeds.

Thing is, I don't see this as a highway median really. It's not convincing. I understand you wanted to translate a median that is littered with garbage thrown out of car and truck windows, but the way this lot looks I see it more like a rural alley or something.

For what it's worth...

Very nice, seems to fit in a poor/slum setting in third-world countries, or cities that don't exemplify clean and green. Otherwise, 3/5 stars.
