If you are interesting in BATing why don't you open a BAT thread show your work in progress there in that way ppl can give you feedback. This model it is a nice start however you could improve lots with a bit of practice...I won't really comment on this mode as you have already released it but I am looking forward to see you in the BAT thread.

Hey, this is not bad at all for a first upload. Looks like you are off to a good start! I think harishna's idea is good. You obviously managed to work your way into gmax and learned the basics - with some help and guidance from experienced BATters, I'm confident you will soon be able to create really nice stuff.

The tower itself looks good to me, although the top is a bit lackluster in terms of texturing. Good textures can really help a lot, but many BATters take a while to get really good at texturing, so that's perfectly normal. ;) In any case, keep it up! :thumb:

You have the base idea of a model down, but you still could use some small details. Things like a ladder on the outside (or at least a door to a internal ladder) or a hatch and barrier on the roof.

I understand that its your first building, and its good for that , but next time take details into account it will make it look much better.

Display: 4/5: although the product is shown, a larger picture should be provided.

Overall product: 3.5/5: The product should have more textures and more realism.

effort: 4/5: A little bit more work, and this would have been a great STEX file.

usage: 4.5/5: Although some people aim for realism, I'm sure a lot of people will like this.

Overall: 4
rounded:4

note: A great replacement for those who are tired of the maxis style water tower.

Clicking the pictures will bring up larger ones.

@jacksunny: I know, I think the zoom should have been closer...
[/quote]
It was zoomed right up to it, you can't get much closer without cutting some of the tower out!

Constructive comment?....1. Open a thread and read the comments people give you...2. Use "dirtier" or "used" textures on your models. This one's too clean. 3. Add more details to your models. This one looks like it has only two pieces on top of each other....and finally check and doublecheck the size and dimensions of your BAT (this is hard, I myself still have problems with it) Your model seems to be a little too small. Good start though. ;)
