About This File

US Bank Center, located in the city of Milwaukee, was completed in 1973 and was designed by Bruce Graham of SOM. The building was originally built for First Wisconsin National Bank. Today it is named after US Bank, which First Wisconsin National Bank acquired in 2001.

  • 5x10 and 10x5 growables. 5x10 ploppable.
  • CO§§ and CO§§§.

  • The US Bank sign is optional. Remove "Jasoncw - US Bank Center - Sign (XN).dat" to remove the sign.

  • The ploppable lot is transit enabled. The growable lots have a plaza in that space.

  • MaxisNite and DarkNite night versions.
  • DarkNite requires the Day and Nite Modd.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Download either the DarkNite (DN) or MaxisNite (MN) version. If you're unsure, choose the MN version.
  2. Unzip the .zip and move its contents to Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins.
  3. SC4Lot files are descriptively titled. Remove the lot versions which you don't want. Do not remove any .SC4Model files.

BAT and lotting by Jasoncw
Modding by nofunk

Special thanks to @Tyberius06 for fixing the immortal lot bug, and improving the lots' stats! If you're using the original version, it is recommended to demolish all instances of the lots in your cities, and replace them with the updated version. -Jasoncw, October 2024

Maxis better hire you for SC5!
I did get a glitch though. When I plopped a building next to it on the transit enabled side, the entire building disappeared and could not be demolished.

@ poiuy1208: That glitch happens occasionally when a building is too close to the edge of the lot. Try covering all tiles that used to be occupied by the disappeared building with single street tiles (not connected). Then also plop single street tiles around the outline of this 5x10 area. Then demolish all street tiles at once.

If this doesn't help, RippleJet has uploaded a mod to fix this on Sc4Devotion - a key word to search for relevant information is "immortal building".

Wow, this looks awesome! That would surprise me, as I despised this building in RL when I lived in Milwaukee, but you have a Midas touch! Really outstanding work.

It Looks amazing, spectacular!!, only one problem the light of the building don't turn at night even if it has power going through it, if someone know i could use a hand.

Absolutely amazing... it's like you took a photo of the building and dropped it into the game. And making the sign optional is a nice touch (perhaps you could offer future updates that let you change the sign through the ages... First Wisconsin, Firstar, then finally US Bank) :-)

What a surprise! We All Grovel! The model is certainly magnificent, but the sunscreens on the floors with the diagonal bracings are especially outstanding. I can't stop looking at those floors.

Time for some 1970s, SOM-style urban renewal in all our cities!
