you need to place it in the NAM (Network Addon Mod) plugin folder, for example ...\Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins\Network Addon Mod\Plugins .

This way it will work, oh yeah you need to allow them to grow, its made so that the trees wil die and regrow itself from time to time (nice feature) :)

And thank you for making this, its awesome.

my computer does not recognize a "rar" file......what is that?

Huh..?! Hmmm....where r u from dude....planet mars...???
Use/install WinRar software to make your computer recognize it....that's what we use on our computer in planet earth....lol
Anyway great mod....if only you could make it for another AVE or another roads maybe....

Just about to download & complete my transition to seasonal trees (almost) everywhere ... along with the porkissimo street tree mod by Shadow Assassin and the arden seasonal tree controller by vortext (along with a LOT of dependencies that are well worth getting!) this only leaves the existing lots with original maxis trees - if anybody has covered a maxis tree replacement/override might I suggest you all get your heads together and put it all into a TAM (tree addon mod)? Just a thought ... forgive me for suggesting this if it's too much work as I never demand anything on here & appreciate any mod I couldn't develop myself - which is just about 99% of them

Alternatively there's a program called 7Zip which I can recommend. This program, like winrar, supports multiple compression types & is completely free. I would provide a link but not sure if it's against the site rules to post an external but a quick google search will do the trick

Anybody else having it show the Maxis props on certain/most tiles of "zoned" avenues?  I've tried everything I can think of to get rid of this issue:  removing the LRM (Light Replacement Mod) T21 files for AVE-4 networks, adding zzzzzzz to the front of this mod's filename, moving it into the Network Addon Mod folder, and the combination of the previous two things.  The props show up just fine on "unzoned" avenue sections, but if there's a sidewalk and everything, this mod's props only show up every few tiles.

I guess I must have something in my plugins that is conflicting with this mod's T21s, but I have no other ideas as to what it could be.  Can anyone suggest something that would cause such a conflict, maybe?  Also, I should think that if I added all the z's to the filename, it would win in any conflicts with other files anyway, but that doesn't seem to be the case.  I don't think there's anything in my installation directory plugins folder that would conflict with it, either.

I have the same problem Moonraker0, and to my knowledge I don't have any conflicting files. Perhaps there is something not quite right with the modding.

Great mod, I personally find the CP trees way too large, but no complaints with respect to your mod, even with huge trees this transforms the look of avenue lined areas.

----

For all those with problems, trust me the modding is fine, almost certainly you have not installed it correctly.

This is a T21 mod and as such you can not have two mods installed that affect the same network tile (in this case the Avenue).

When you have two mods installed for the same network tile, the game will always display the T21 that loads last in your plugins folder. The reason for the crossover is that you can set T21 mods to only appear under certain conditions. Whatever you have that is conflicting probably doesn't appear with 0 Wealth, hence the trees are there until you zone, after which the conflicting mod shows instead.

To load after the NAM you must add the prefix "z____" (that's 4 underscores) to the name of a folder in the root of your plugins directory. The old multiple zzz's folder ordering no longer works due to changes made in recent times to the NAM. Once you've got it loading after the NAM, if you still get the conflict you need to find and remove the other mod (mods) which this supersedes or ensure this mod loads after it.
