I love roundabouts, but one thing I've always craved is an extra lane on the NAM Avenue roundabouts, so I made one, and I'm sharing it with the community. It may not be technically correct - I'm not a driver so I have no clue about these things - but I like the way it looks!
The three lane avenue filler comes in two flavours - a planted version that uses prop families to make each plop unique, and a blank version that allows you to use your favourite mayor mode items in the centre - that could be trees, shrubs, rocks and any other ploppable item you might find in the mayor mode flora menu.
Note : The extra lane is eyecandy only. It's made using an overhanging prop, so it's not integrated with the game's traffic simulator in any way. You will never see cars using that extra lane. It might be possible for someone clever to make a functional three-lane version of the original NAM Avenue roundabout... but unfortunately that person is not me. I made this to satisfy my own desires until there are more comprehensive options available.
Also included in this upload are a pair of fillers for the one-way-road roundabout. I made these a very long time ago, so they're not my best work, but I've been using them in my CJ for a long time so I thought I'd include them in this small pack.
There are left hand drive and right hand drive versions of all four lots - although they are eyecandy only, so if you really wanted to you could use the RHD version in a LHD game.
They're appear near the top of your parks menu. They don't cost much and don't have much of an impact on your city, though they do have a small park effect. Full stats are in the readme.
Dependencies :
Network Addon Mod (NAM) - this is not necessarily a dependency, but these fillers will look odd if you don't have the roundabouts for them to fill!
