I have to say I've always wanted this building to be uploaded to the stex. @simhottdaddy: we might know that you don't say these things to be mean, however i've read many of your comments and I think that there are ways of saying things and the tone you use is agressive. I guess you could be more polite, no need to be so harsh to darknono25. Anyway thanks darknono awesome BAT

Let me put it this way: as it stands, this is a very good BAT. I happily downloaded it and can't wait to use it. However, it has the potential to be more than very good. If you follow simhottoddy's advice and make a BAT thread, you could very well have the best BAT on the entire exchange, period. No exaggeration--it's hard to imagine anything better than a perfectly executed Woolworth, and you're 90% of the way there. Well, maybe a perfect Pennsylvania Station could top it. Hint hint.

Simhottoddy has not said anything aggressive at all. They are simply constructive criticism. So please, let's not start a smilar debate or argument about harsh comments(it's happend on some uploads before).

Oh and by the way, he doesn't have to open a BAT Thread, he can post in the all ready open NYBT BAT Thread(hence the NYBT label). ;)

Initial impression, a job well done. I believe you have captured the gothic nature of the building. Love the light-greenish tint on the various roofs. Your masterpiece, I believe, has truly captured the historical significance of this landmark. The only critique I can give is that the building's second tier (from the bottom) does appear to be slightly compressed. But that is a slight imperfection on a brillant piece of work. 5/5!!!

With this building in your "growing" resume of recent quality work, it can be argued that you are knoocking on the door of a distinguished class of batters, such SimGoober, barbyw, pegasus, jestarr, gascooker, xannepan, to name a few.

Beautiful work so far! Personally, I like it a lot. Maybe you follow some of the advices, but I think there will be enough time to adjust some things in a second, even better version. Nevertheless, 5/5 for the effort and the courage to do the Woolworth Building! Congrats.

Good stuff. And yes, there is always room for improvement, even on the most beautiful of BATs. It's a never-ending process to perfection...

I've noticed that there's a natural progression in your work. This last one is far superior in quality to your first, for example. Have you ever thought of going back and applying your new skills to your old BAT's? Some of those "Oklahoma" buildings that you've done are great examples of Art Deco. To be fair, though, I live in Tulsa.

it's ok, darknono. regarldless of what other people say, i'm still a fan. your work is great. may not meet certain standards people set up, but i'm pretty sure it's just their competitive nature went bad. you take critique very well, but those kind of people went sour all the way...

This is a awesome job Darknono ! Okay I am not experienced at Batting enough to " State " Every little opinion about the quality of this job. However I guess its not a easy task pleasing the masses and everyone. I think Simhottoddy's comments are great in the fact that there constructive. Lets remember that politeness is required I feel. But facts are facts and if this was my upload I would appreciate those comments ^3^
