Yeah, a winner!! Great use of the SG buildings, btw. Schulmania is taking on the trip through time... obviously. About time to think about the initial past, isn't it?

*Grease is all around me, da darada dada...'* So, BuggUla, having seen that I wonder if Rickey Martin will be up next... but, speaking of 'Schlager music' only presented in a different language: does Nana Mouskouri make you shiver? You, at least and finally? (She looked better when younger): We haven't known THAT side of BuggUla until now... well... And next? Linedancing buggs? Sombrero-wearing insects playing the mandolin next? Poisoning burritos and encheladas, sitting in the cuacamole dip then? Or just the Bohemian ones, camouflaged with a big hat and moustache sitting in all the nice Parisian, Italian and Austrian caffés? We do not want that! The pesky nights are already enough! Plus: being put i nthe microwave oven wouldn't harm you, right? We'll see... All the pest from the ones that DO NOT love you.

I hope everyone's spotted out the sundial on the column in the first pic of the Apollo Temple- as Apollo was the gd of the sun. btw, all models correspond to their RL counterparts in Pompeii

REPLIES Harishna Thanks a lot! No, the fish bassins don't have the final texture, whereas the red walls are going to keep their rich red. Romans applied it to almost everything and it was very intense... hope you like the new update. Frex_Ceafus ... and here's more! Thank you. IDS2 Thank you very much. Yes, the fish... I think I am a bit maniac Tonyr Thanks, and I bet you'll also love the following... Seraf Thank you, glad you liked the update. Here's a new one! lo_bg Welcome to my project, glad you like it. Thanks a lot. Schulmanator lol ... soon... Thank you, Bruce. IL. Well, I want to upload everything together... Thank you. UPDATE Todays truly massive update is focusing on public buildings, i.e. forum puzzle pieces, temples and municipal buildings. Here we go, starting with the Temple of Apollo (finished) 3 municipal buildings (finished): from left to right: curia, tabularium, the place of the duumviri Temple of Jupiter (finished), dedicated to the 'trias' Jupiter, Juno and Minerva Basilica (needs to be scaled), for trials and business The small Temple of Vespasian, attached to one of the forum puzzle pieces (finished) The comitium for public elections (statues are missing, not scaled) The macellum, the market (in progress) The forum puzzle pieces (to be scaled): 1 and 2 stories high (ignore the mirrored structure in the first pic) And a section of 2 insulae, divided by a street (in progress) Good, the macellum needs to be finished, then working on 3 more forum buildings. These should finally offer a big variety to build a custom forum Stay tuned for more to come soon, lucky7

REPLIES Schulmanator Thanks a lot, Bruce! Now, please sit down and do not move _marsh_ Thank you very much, here's more... Sgt Pepper Thanks Brandon; as for the seams on the roof: they are not visible on all buildings yet. Tonyr Thanks a lot; well, seems to be this will remain a single work project... Frex_Ceafus lol me, too! Thanks! TekindusT Thank you very much. Yes, there will be double versions of most of the buildings. UPDATE: Finally... first, 2 pics of the progress on the 'Villa of Diomedes': Now, one of the newest projects: a villa containing fishbasins. ... and 2 close-ups: A villa rustica (farmhouse) still in progress: And a completely finished villa rustica with 3 tombs: close-ups: ... and the previewed building: Good, I hope you like the outcome so far, comments and suggestions are very welcome, take care everyone, lucky7

Hi folks, big update tomorrow, just asking: a villa rustica (a farmhouse, but sophistically adapted to Roman standards) is the next part on my villa list consisting of 4 buildings. I do have something in mind, but would like to ask you if you might have any special wishes for this one? Let me know soon (I am planning something connected to wine, btw, but that's just me), replies and update tomorrow, take care everyone, lucky7

REPLIES: Frex_Ceafus Glad you LOVE it Thank you. Schulmanator lol Bruce, these are going to make a nice surrounding for everything else Thank you. Harishna Here's more on this, thanks a lot! Sgt Pepper Brandon, here it is with more textures thank you. Tonyr Regained speech lol ? Thanks a lot, here's more. SimHoTToDDy Thanks a lot for your advice, I'll PM you on that... Seraf lol here we go with the rotundas. Peristyle? This is what I've come up with... Thank you very much. OK, more on the vast villa... I've been adding the majority of details and textures, but keep thinking what will happen if I make it as a prop and don't put ground textures in the BAT. My aim is that users have free hand to sculpt the adjacent areas within the villa (peristylia excluded) on their own. Will the villa be 'floating' without BATted ground textures (remember:prop)or will it be usuable that way? EXPERTS WELCOME to answer this question. Here it is: And an 'castellum acquae' (water reservoir) modelled after the original one in Pompeii; this is going to be used as the main building for the aforementioned villa 2 tiles away... : Well, tell me what you think, suggestions and comments are very welcome, take care everyone, lucky7
