About This File

G'Day Simtropians,

This time it is a map of BrisVegas.

This is big, there is something for everyone here! Hills for mountain development, coastal plains for farming communities, rivers, canal living, tropical islands. Its got it all.

This map was produced with dem data and satellite imagery and is scale and terrain accurate. It is large at 8196km x 73.728km and includes all of Morton Island and most of North Stradbroke Island.

Use Wouanagaines mapper or terraformer to import BrisVegas into SC4.

See me up CLOSE and personal.

I think that's all, have fun.

Cheers

Hey Drunkapple, this map looks amazing. I am having difficulty trying to find a program to download (SC4 Mapper) doesnt want to open. I am using Vista and read that there are some problems with using the Mapper program. Is there anyway I am able to get this map on SC4? Its all so confusing Cheers

S2563323, you can render this map the normal way, adding a folder in the regions directory and placing the config.bmp in it. Start SC4 choose the region and press alt-ctrl-shift-r and select the brisbane map. DL moganite's erosion control set 1 and place the NE1000.dat into the plugins directory to give the correct height.

It's great! Definitely a great place to have at SC4. PS: You said ''Create Region then click greyscale image''. At my version it's ''Import Image''... Good Region anyway. 5/5

Excellent! With a little luck, this should be my first multi-million sim region. It should last me at least a couple of years...

Drunkapple, I intend on seeing some small splotchy river towns appearing on this extraordinary map. Best one you ever made 10/5

G'Day Josh, snooping around amongst my maps eh, good for you ;<). 2 million people roughly live here in reality. I have a 16bit version of it on SCC. Thanks mate. Cheers

No I don't intend on making 2 million people live here. Goodness sakes for all I care I could cram hundreds of rural towns here.
