About This File

Inspired by an Art Deco theater of years gone by, and the BSC Team member Deadwoods, who is now retired from SimCity. He used to have a flair for the Art Deco style, and made a few buildings in this style.

This classic style building should add some visual interest to any city. I have included a growable, high wealth, commercial services version, and a plop museum version. Take your pick.

Dependencies:

BSC Essentials

BSC MEGA Props - SG Vol 01

I too am not happy about still getting these EXE files. I'm done being patient and asking nicely for months.

All I can say is I am also shocked at the low rating given this is something done by SG, although I totally understand where it come from. The fact is SG never give full statistics or full picture of almost anything he creates as of late, or even at SC4D. Obviously there is backlash at the expense of fair rating.....

....but the truth is SG cannot take everybody for granted. Hence we give supremely high recognition and ratings to other pros like Pegasus, Bixel, Simfox, just to name the obvious, who give us better details. For somebody with SG's clout, maybe he does not need to care about this prevailing negative sentiment among clueless newcomers.....

....because if things go terribly wrong, SG can always go back to SC4D, which is what you did most of the past 3 years, but I wish you will go with the flow and give us better pics and statistics, just for the sake of setting good examples for other newbies to follow, as we cannot possibly treat you any differently from other established pros.

kendiecasttsoi, USA Patriot, and simathome: because Simgoober has established a reputation of very high quality over the past SIX years, I would not hesitate to get any one of his excellent creations. As for the .exe installers, a MAJORITY of users find it easier this way. Pettiness? yes, you have shown us all how petty and small you three are. 10/10 as always SG.

Northcountrydude: I did not give this thing any rating, and I am just saying the obvious. Many of us expect newbies to do the basic things, and many other pros do the same too, so I find myself a little frustrating that I need to appeal a legendary uploader to do the same.

Ok, I should as well give a rating, haha. My thumbs up for SG's consistent high quality of work, but not so for the description.

I really hate to jump into this kind of fray... and I realize that each individual has specific items related to a lot that they would like to see... or see better. But remember that these lots are FREE... and only take a few minutes to download and see in the game. And proper functionality is never in question with one of Goob's lots.

Well, Pegasus, you deserve my respect, but check out SG's previous upload, the Addison Library. It is bugged. I did not even want to mention it, but since you are talking about proper functionality, I cannot resist. Sorry. As I say, we cannot take things for granted. So be it.

IDK... I find SGs descs. and pics often come up short, in my opinion. But seriously, its totally free... all SG is asking that you take some time and try out his lot, thats the reason ppl upload here in the forst place... I have both the dependencies its not like its hard or anything to find them... so my overall rating is a 10/10

On a BAT like this, I don't mind the close-up zoom - it gives me a better sense of all the detail and makes me want to download this even more. If I want to see the full building, I can always use the plop cheat to examine it. And there is no difficulty in finding any BSC dependencies, between here and the LEX, so that argument never holds water for me. This is a fine creation honoring an equally fine BATter...

Simathone: That is very rude. I actually like the detailed closeups. You are getting worked up over nothing, SG, very incredible stuff. Thanks for sharing.
