About This File

Dear Citizens of Simtropolis! Merry Christmas and happy New Year!

This is my first upload to STEX. I offer you this BAT, hoping you 'll like it.

I use this opportunity to thank you all of you who motivate me to learn and use Gmax (just start 3 months ago).

A special mention for Bixel and Simfox (to whom I dedicate this work) for there highly talented work.

"500 Brickell, is a residential complex in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami, Florida.

The complex consists of two condominium towers, 500 Brickell West Tower and 500 Brickell East Tower.

The two buildings were designed as twin towers, and rise 426 feet (130 meters), with 42 floors.

Both skyscrapers were designed by the Arquitectonica architectural firm, and the complex was developed by the Related Group of Florida.

The towers began construction in April 2005, was topped out in mid-2007 and was completed in 2008.

500 Brickell was originally designed to emulate a giant arch. Both towers are connected by a 10-story base, and the top floors of the two towers are also connected by a large white roof.

The roof was designed with a circular hole to direct light into the courtyard formed between the two buildings, in which a large pool will be located."

Nice work! If only I could make anything in gmax... any way... the tower parts look great especially at night! That pool in between the towers look great too. 10/10

Textures may be a little too bright on the roof and base, but that's no big deal. The lighting is brilliant IMO, really well done. That must have taken quite a while and is staggeringly good quality for a first. 9/10.

IMO, your model looks good, but your textures need work. I.e., the windows on the bottom are rainbow, never ever make rainbow textures for the windows lol. Also, whites on this tower are too bright. To get perfect whites, add a tint of pink, blue, or green.your model is good though, and great nightlights.9/10

Just to warn you, ploppable residentials don't work. Personally, the day view is too bright, but the night is incredible. If you haven't already, I suggest opening a BAT thread so that people can see your work before you release it. 9/10 I think you might need to cleanup the description too. I see some repeated sentences.

Modeling is great and the nightlights look fantastic. However I would work on the textures...they seem to bright towards the bottom and on the roof...I'd keep that dark aqua-ish window texture but find something darker for the roof (roofs usually are due to weathering etc.) and the walls. 9/10

Model is good and nightlighting is excellent. I would make the walls and roof a little darker and add a few more props to the base. For your first BAT, excellent. 9/10

This one looks amazing at night, but so-so during daytime! You should make it 4x9 and will grow easier. Textures too bright, everybody agree on that, preventing from giving you a 10. 9/10 is still great!

I like the night shot better than the day shot - the rainbow windows at the bottom bug me, and I'm not a fan of the "cd tray" spanning between the two towers at the top.
