wtf is wrong with you guys????????? This is a GREAT lot. It's not one of SG's creations, it's several Maxis props on a custom lot. Very good lot

This is a great lot! None of this is Simgoober's. They are all MAxis props, so leave this guy alone. Great lot btw, 8/10!

noypi07 that is not a SimGoober prop at all!!! This is the Grand Pool from EA aka Maxis and a standerd prop that everyone has and besides if you download SG mega prop vol 1 you will see that this is not in it.... Flyboy I suggest to you open up a lotting thread first and also if you use a dependency is to link it per the stex rules...

OK, I've gotten some messages from people, as well as what I've read here, and other stuff on the forums about these three uploads and that they're plagiarism. Now, normally, plagiarism is pretty easy to spot, but since there isn't a consensus about this, I'm going to do this:

A) The files will remain open unless the creator wants to lock them, or the staff decides it's plagiarized in which case we'll deal with it. B) The issue of whether these are plagiarized is no longer up for public debate, and further discussion of it will result in a warning from me. C) We're going to apologize to flyboy1212 if it turns out people were harassing him over nothing. Now, please, move on, for your own good.

It has been looked into, and the staff sees no evidence that this file has been plagiarized, so unless anyone has some particularly compelling evidence, I believe that it's time for people to apologize to Flyboy1212.

@ JamesDWho: SC4 was released in 2003, and since then, lots have been made by tens of thousands of players around the world. Do you think the idea of using that large Maxis swimming pool on a standalone lot is so unique and original that in 5 years, no two people can think of it independetly from one another?! Sheesh, the comments to this lot really p*** me off.

First some people who have never done anything remarkable claim it is plagiarised without even taking the time to look at it, and directly start flaming the author. The funniest thing is, I have the sneaking suspicion that some of those who pointed their fingers wouildn't even know how to tell whether a prop is by SG or not if they started the LE.

But no, why bother getting your facts together and contributing a reasonable comment? And as soon as that's over, the next one comes and suspects the uploader of robbing an idea that's just bound to appear several times in five years, just like a modified park or plaza. Argh! Sorry for this outburst, but situations like these really make me want to jump through the monitor.

Flyboy, feel free to delete my posts if they disturb you, and fellow mods, feel free to give me that warning or ban me, but I'd rather leave ST altogether than stay silent in such situations. Back to topic, the lot is not bad, but as I said: such stuff has been done since 2003, and I'm afraid nowadays it will need that special something to turn heads. Nice and proper work nonetheless!
