This is a very good idea, but I'm not really sure of it's purpose. Does it create a config.bmp file for me? etc I've just had a look at it, but cannot understand the readme file :) lol

I found this upload interesting and installed it so that I could review it. Overall, I don't find the application very useful for the following reasons: 1) it is cumbersome to create the config.bmp file. It would be much better if you allowed the size of the city tile to be selected THEN select your anchor cell and fill in ALL appropriate tiles at once rather than the way you've implemented it. [continued] 2) While it is useful for creating a config.bmp file, it would be so much more useful if you allowed a grayscale image map file to "overlay" the table in order to better "see" where to create the cities. 3) It would be useful to give the user "feedback" after clicking the "Generate Region" button rather than clicking it without any apparently action being taken. I do believe you have a great idea in this application and, with a little more effort in your programming and user interface, it could be a useful application. I would suggest you take a look at the "Landscape Designer" in order to get a better understanding of my suggestions. Thank you for your upload and good luck in the future.

Holy crap vandy! I tried it out, and I kept getting spaces in between my city tiles. Like vandy, I too believe that the user interface is lacking friendliness, and it took a long time to create one. Update, and it could be great!

I don't know what you are talking about, I found this really easy to use. It's as nice and simple as it should be.

Quite easy to understand and handle, but useless to me and probably the majority. Making a region the old way is a lot faster, troubleless and easier. This makes only a flat region and a config.bmp which can be made elsewhere even easier and quicker. A good example of *how to complicate our lives a little more* while trying to make things easier. Sorry.

It's a great tool, but the only problem is that I can't make any medium regions. When I create it, On SC4, it shows just a blank.

I found out that the medium cities don't show up because this program makes the green in the config.bmp to dark. I used mspaint to change the green to a lighter green and after that they showed up.

Greetings, I have not tried the program so have no opinion on it, however I already create my own cities the way I like them by just entering the bitmap file and changing the colours of the cities ensuring that red gets 1 dot, green gets 4 and blue gets 16 Anyone needs help with this or proof feel free to let me know Sincerely, Eagle Scream
