About This File

After a very long wait, here it is! Voltaire and ace_bovenopdeberg present: Terminals & Jets pack 1 PART TWO. Not only does this pack provide you with new concourse styles, but also 2 entirely new aircraft. With the new jumbo 747s and the regional CRJs you can add variety to your airports that were dominated by maxis 707s.

This is PART TWO of the ACB-VLT Terminals & Jets Series 1 release. The .zip contains a .exe file that will install the content to your MyDocs\Simcity 4\Plugins directory. This installer contains:

> style 2 concourses, terminals & Jetways
> style 3 concourses & Jetways
> 707 jetway staging lines

When both parts of the release are installed, the total filesize will be 20 MB.

FAQ
Q: Do these lots function as airports?
A: Yes and No: Yes, they are zoned airport and appear in the airport menu. No, they do not have a capacity, jobs or commercial boost.

Q: Some lots appear blank (No buildings). What do I do?
A:  short answer: Install directly into the plugins folder. Why can this help? Especially if you have installed your simcity game to a custom directory the total of "#Directory#\Sim City 4\Plugins\Aerospace Consortium\ACB-VLT Terminals & Jets Series 1\Etc." can be too long to load properly.

DEPENDANCIES

This is only part2 of the ACB-VLT Terminals & Jets release. You will need part 1!

The jetways require these for 'ground clutter':
BSC Mega Props JES Vol01
BSC Mega Props SG vol 01
RMIP-2 SAE Vol 2

it is recommended you also download Voltaire's RMIP-2 releases that allow you to build runways and taxiways.

I like the time you put in to generate this package. Unfortunately when you use it in the game all of your lots are hard to see. You need to use a HIGHER RESOLUTION. As someone already indicated your images are pixellized.

Beautiful! Thanks Ace! Unfortunately I'm unable to see the terminals. I get only blank lots. I've got all the dependencies so I can't figure out what the problem is. Anyone else having these problems? Any suggestions?

den52: what exactly do you mean? The STEX images are pixelized? Or do the models appear fuzzy/pixelized in-game? juancapez: hmmm...strange....confirm that there are equal emounts of .desc, model and lot files in the concourse folders.

Wicked good. The level of detailing is amazing. My wife and I fly a lot and the resemblance to real life is amazing. Awesome job.

Philadelphia - it does have nightlights. Make sure you have the SC update from sc4.com. Also, nightlights don't work without power obviously...
