About This File

The Cathedral of Commerce
Mr. Glamazon, 24 July 2007

Sherman was late again.
The traffic around the core of the city was hell and it only took a small delay for his Blackberry to start ringing off the hook.  Thankfully, the golden spire was in sight.  He sped through three lanes of traffic and made a violent turn into the parking structure across the street.  His old Lexus took the turn a little less well than it had five years ago.  As soon as the car was parked, he grabbed his brief case and ran across the street.  His glittering white workplace loomed just ahead.  Built in 1923 the Cathedral of Commerce had filled a huge high wealth gap back in the boom days of the city.  The Gothic spires and crowns all culminated in a single gold leaf coated Spire, soaring 475 feet into the blue sky.  The unabashed avarice that surrounded him as he flew through the marble lobby doors was still astounding, even after years with CentrePartners LLC.  Opulent carved marble tracery on the windows, a limestone and alabaster facade, and gold on every applicable surface.  It was good to be at work, he reflected thoughtfully in the elevator.
"Sherman, you're late again!" Well, he thought wistfully, it was until Mr. Kroenke showed up.

Enclosed in the .zip files are everything you need to get started with The Cathedral of Commerce!  A ReadMe, as well as The CO$$$ version and the Landmark version!   As this is a Mr. Glamazon production, the levels of pollution are half that of a default building this size.  Placing the landmark version also gives a small mayor rating boost!  Enjoy your download and keep your eyes out for future Mr. Glamazon releases!  Keep track of all my latest projects in my BAT thread!
Have a great day!

Nice background! Love the neo-gothic. Reminds me of some buildings in Chicago, except not so dark and evil looking.

A little bit too clean and light-coloured, but surely worth a try. Don't forget that rendering lightens up colors by a certain percentage. The Model is super though! I suppose it is on a 4x4 lot?

This is a beautiful building, it reminds me of a castle. I hope you make more buildings of this sort.

This is great job. Is that real thing in the world. Or who is the ideal building in the SimCity.... :-)

This looks nice, but I'm interested in the old-style building seen behind, on the right side of the picture. Any info on that?
