About This File

This mysterious BAT was Inspired by Kubric's movie 2001:Space Odyssey. It is the cause of the evolution of the humanity. It is really expensive, but can give desirability a great boost. It's a landmark, but it has zero maintaining cost.

Isn't the original monolith a bit taller? I think it's about twice as high as it is wide. And I'm missing the solar eclipse. ;)

I think, in the original works by Arthur C Clarke, the dimension was 1:4:9, and has got a total absorption of all incident light. But how did you make it this pitch black?

It's just a black box?! Holy Cow! It's far less than what i have expected. Much too simple....

Well, it is umm... certainly nothing like that of I've ever seen... Maybe try to give it a lot more lot detail, or is it supposed to be like that?

i like how it boosts residential and commercial demand, but how will this incorperate with the wonderful style of my city? if you would make it look more appealing i would certainly place it in my city. But thx for the idea, keep it up! da

I'll spit out my opinions right now on this. 1. needs a smaller lot, the big lot seems pointless. 2. You need the true stats of the lot and effects on the description page. 3. It's rather big compared to the movie one. and 4. the object doesn't take any effort to make. so I'll give this a 3/10 based off the text of the ratings

Ok, I'm not sure why anyone would want this in their city. It is way too big and disproportionate compared to the one from the movie. Sorry you wasted your time on this. Better luck to you with your next... um... thingy.

Need to develop the idea. A black box on a blank lot is not enough. Also wrong proportions: the original was 1:4:9. I am a fan of the film but the 3/10 vote states it perfectly: "more effort needed".

Dude, I love it - nobody here has ever created anything this cool. I now will make a city dedicated to that movie, or maybe all of Kubrick's flicks. Thanks for the inspiration. Cheers! you get 10 stars and 2 thumbs!!!
