About This File

See of the Anglican Archbishop of your city's Archdiocese,

The Cathedral of St. George is a house of prayer for all people.

There are chapels for Buddhists, Christians, Jews, Muslims, Pagans, Wiccans and many other religious traditions.

There is an interfaith meditation and service on Saturdays which incorporate the customs of many religious traditions.

There is a cemetary where past mayors have been laid to rest.

This is my very first lot...thanks to The Holy Shmails Cathedral for their inspiration. Lot is 8x12, Landmark and Park effect. Let me know what you think.

Nice job for your first effort. I'm glad to see new designers getting into the mix. I never understand how someone who has never designed their own lot can give low scores. The effort alone is worth more. Keep on designing!

I've never made a lot so I never give anything under a 7 most of the time, unless its a poor lot. This is a nice lot thus it deserved the 8 I gave it.

If it's a cathedral of a saint, why do you include non-Christian religions? That makes no sense. You should call it some sort of temple.

St. George is the patron of England, I designed this cathedral thinking of the National Cathedral is Washinton DC, which is also Anglican, but open to all faiths and has chapels for them. I just really like the name St. George, so that's why I named it this.

Hagia Sophia is not a prayer area for all religions. Only for muslims because its a mosque. I give it 1.

Hagia Sophia was a cathedral, but it was changed to mosque during the Ottoman era.

Owh c'mon guys, be open-minded will ya? The structure only looks like Hagia Sophia but the designer has made it into a multi-religious centre. Doesn't have to look like a mosque to be one. Besides, it's only in the game, not in reality. Nice work dc6470 i'll give you a 9 and a two thumbs up. Owh and if you guys are wondering, yeah i'm a Muslim, a tolerant one.

So we can see that you have break down the walls in your mind to understand the worth of this idea. I really like the idea behind this lot. A place to pray for all religions. Although I still would not build it in my city. The people there don`t need buildings to feel near to the greater powers ruling everything.
