Melbourne people may remember that when VicRail closed the St Kilda rail line the tramways took it over. The #96 tram now turns off Fitzroy St and onto the old rail line, whereupon it stops at all the old railway stations until it changes back to regular tramlines near Crown Casino.

We needed a GLR to Rail transfer. Thanks!

it functions, but you kept it very, very easy. The train has a funny animation when it gets on the station: it jumps up and is away. I want a new version!

Well, I've found out that you must wait some months in SC4 - then the GLR train can pass the track and is on the rail track;) But rail to GLR is impossible.

I think it is a good idea, but excuse me, where I can find the track for the streetcars or trams? Because when I downloaded some BAT file for the tram or streetcar stations, I suddenly found that there wasn't any track included into the stations!!!!!! Please help me guys. T hanks a lot!

What do you mean this isn't U-Drive it enabled? I downloaded it and the passenger train drives onto the GLR tracks.

srry i have alot of questions and comments, 1: some trams DO run on standard freight lines. There r some near where i live. 2: does the tram turn into a train wen it passes thru? 4: make it look like a transfer station :D

Great and well done... this was needed. Only wish that the trams would continue on heavy rail. Many lightrail lines use portions of heavy rail to transition from point to point... much more cost effective when building or adding onto light rail lines, especially when vacated heavy rail is near... much cheaper to transfer than build new lines!

So is this mod not ever coming out of beta? Well, just thought I'd say that I like the direct transition better than the idea of a transfer station.
