About This File

A clean alternative to the in-game waste-to-energy plant. Due to advances in the filter industry research since the release of SimCity 4, it produces only ten percent of the pollution. Therefore, the costs are a bit higher, but the local environment advisor already predicts a raise of funds due to higher tax income.
Also included is an enhanced query for the default plant. This can be removed if desired.

SimGoober, you've done it again! (again). This will blend in perfectly in any industrial area. Just looks like another factory to the eye but what people don't know is that garbage goes in, electricity comes out. Well done. 10/10. I see no stopping you creating BATS!

Much better than the stupid high polluting Maxis Waste-to-energy plant. I see a modern waste to energy plants as somewhat high tech using elaborate 'air scrubbing' techniques to minimuze pollutants. Useful. Beneficial. Functional. Good bat. Nice lot. Oh Boy.

Ok, so I haven't actually had time to try it in the game, but this looks simply awesome! Very realistic looking, and appears to be very lifelike in its operation.

It is a great idea, though from my testing in game so far compared to the present default version (Waste to Energy Plant) it doesnt remove waste :( Is there a bug??

For me, they work fine. Unless SimGoober didn't changed something in the last minute, I can't see why there should be any problems.

To my knowledge, this should be working fine. Andreas did the modding, and several BSC members tested it. No problems; I checked it again in a city last night and it appears fine. Please post any issues in my support thread, so we can research it more thouroughly.

I just registered yesterday and i downloaded this file and i installed it. I had a traditional waste-to-energy plant and i wanted to see its max. cap. and when i used the query button it came up with some 'bogus alert'. Nothing bad but i cant see the info and stuff for it.

The fact you scarred me to think that the in game one was broken, i'm giving you an 8, but it was a little funny, "Bogus Alert".

The bogus alert is unsettling, but it can be removed, as it says in the description above. So please don't rate low based on your own mistake... if you don't read descriptions and readmes, it is your own fault. They aren't particularly fun to write, but SG writes a full one for each lot...
