About This File

Here it is: The urban agricultural solution.

Problem:Energy is expensive. It takes a lot of energy just to get that ear ofcorn from some field 50 miles away to the grocery store, then to yourplate. That energy costs a lot of money. Now, what if you couldstreamline food production by cutting operating costs by bringing theproduction closer to the customer? What if you could do this in a waythat brings good-paying jobs to the community, and do this while beinga shining example of energy-efficient Bright-Green development? Whilemaking food production substantially less harmful to the naturalenvironment by consolidating it in a better controlled, artificialsystem impervious to erosion, over-use and local climate, in effectremoving the process from the natural environment?

Where is the best place for this community-enhancing, energy-saving and environmentally sound farm?

Answer: The corner of 5th and Pine, near the grocery store and all the other industries in your city, of course.

Details: 50 I-HT jobs on a 4x4 lot

(Ploppable may have slightly different specs.)

Includes ploppable and growable

Great work, and cool idea. Thing is it takes more enrgey to grow it artificialialy because they have to use light bulbs for light, and then they have to pump water in the sprinklers.

50 jobs is fine, it's a farm lost of soil to plant, no need to have as many ppl as an office (with quadrupler it's a 200 job) it's just perfect, leave it the way it is. (or make ir more trnasparent to see move vegetables :p) 10!

I can't find where the ploppable module is stored, what menu is it under? I downloaded all the needed files and still can't find it on the game.

Now really, shouldn't this provide agro jobs instead? That alone has put me off. You just decided to avoid the problem and create something that's dressed up to look like a solution. Who needs more high tech? You could have easily done it properly.
