The Loyalty Building is located at the corner of North Broadway and Michigan Avenue in downtown Milwaukee. Built in 1886 as the home office of Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance, it was designed in the Richardsonian Romanesque style by the celebrated Midwest designer S.S. Beman. The building features a four-story atrium with original ornamental iron work and a patterned glass skylight.

Beautiful! We desperately need more buildings for the Chicago/New York tileset, so this one is more than welcome. :-)

I really like these Milwaukee buildings. They're not so obviously American that you can't use them in a European looking city ... On top of that they're better than average Goober buildings too, which can only be a good thing!

I love the Milwaukee architecture. You are bringing my hometown to life. To bad you didn't see the house shaped like a boat on the east side when you were here

I absolutely love Richardsonian Romanesque! This is a great addition to the STEX. Speaking of Milwaukee, it is too sad that they tore down their old train station. That was a great example of this style. Awesome work SG!
