Tired of those old & clunky looking cop cars? What bad 1950s movie did they find those in? Well that's all about to change with the new PEG Police Car Replacement Modd.

This pack offers you a choice of 10 new modern police car styles that replace the game's automata as well all the props around the police stations. Its all automatic... just install the style of your choice and all the police cars in the game change to that style. There's even a new static prop in each style thrown in for the use of developers who want a cop on-lot 24/7.

The available styles include:

* 4 styles of Black & White units with varied markings:
- Star on doors.
- Municipal seal on doors.
- Sheriff's Unit.
- SimCop's police cruiser... dedicated to Officer SimCop who is the TopCop in our books... and a major contributing factor for the success of the KrispyKremes franchise.

 

* 5 styles of all White units with varied markings:
- Standard ' POLICE ' cruiser.
- White w/ Blue stripe.
- White w/ Orange stripe.
- NYPD
- St. Lucie County Sheriff's Department in Florida. Dedicated to Deputy Dan1083 who is serving with pride through thick & thin... not to mention several hurricanes.
* The official S.C.P.D. police cruiser... a "powerfully" blue & white unit that stands out and lets your Sims know that SimCity's finest is on the job.
 

All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here.

Released

As part of the Project ZIP efforts the *.exe installer has been removed from this upload. To install, simply copy/extract the PEGPROD parent folder into your plugins.

Why dosn't it work on my MAC (apple computer) when I put it in the game there is still the default ones?

Hey Pegaus, just a ? that I've been wanting to ask here. How do I change the colors from the usual white car I get? Just Curius ok. But otherwise this is awesome with these police cars. Keep Up the great work and keep them coming! I rate these cars 10/10

FINALLY i found a mod that replaces the old rusty junkers that couldn't outpace a loaded tractor trailer (great big lorry) going up a mountain

btw, personal opinion: black/white with seal loox best fire trucks are available on this site, and ambulances too Uk, Polish, Swedish, Dutch, Russian, maybe something else civic vehicles on simcitycentral.net

I absolutely love the blue and white police car texture!! I hated the default police cars! Can you also try making a police van texture replacement mod? I would like that, too! Thank you! Nice job!!

Wow, and I haven't even downloaded it yet. One thing - where's the software to alter vehicle skins like this? I wanna make my own trains, fire engines, and ambulances

A great improvement on the stock cars, but I have a guestion. I'm wondering how come you drive what looks like a ford Crown Victoria, but on the lots, there what appers to be 1980 chevrolet caprice's? Is there a way I can choose the model? Sorry for the newbie question.
