I would.

I have enjoyed playing this game, despite a few issues that i keep encountering.

I admit another round or two of patching are needed but that seems to be the norm for most games over the past few years.

I would still buy it because it is still a really good game but with a few bugs that needs fixing.

Absolutely.  Sure, it isnt the game I had hoped it would be, there is plenty I wish was different.  But that said, I have still had a ton of fun playing it and I remain confident that it will only get better.

I regret purchasing the game everyday although I play it everyday. The only reason why I regret it is because I can't play it on Mac yet and the PC I'm playing it on has a Terrible graphics card and Internet connection. It gets annoying only being able to play on restricted levels. But I guess both of those are my problem, huh?

I pre orderded it. Not happy with all the bugs and the city tile size. I still think its a good game. I really like the art style and the tilt shift affect. I think its a good foundation and I think its going to be a lot better as time goes on. Its only the begining.

Nope, I would not buy it. So many things in the game simply do not work and I have no satisfaction from the accomplishments of my city.

I believe this poll is for people who bought the game. Not the ranters who didn't.........

Yes I would buy it again. I have lost 180 hours on it already.

To be honest is good value for money/time played, already.

At the same price you get a "high review rating" game that last 6 hours only. (Crysis 3 for example).

Yes I would, I enjoyed playing the game now even with some of the stuff which has bugs. So if I go back then, I would still buy it.

I put in more hours in this game than I did which D3.

Yea i would still buy it. But only because I really hope and believe that there will come some big updates in the future.

I'm not gonna buy the next SC if they dont fix the bugs...

yes but not for the 80$ digital deluxe... wish i picked it up from amazon for the 40$???. the thing is, i must have built about 50 cities, improving my layouts and learning more about the mechanics of the game but yet to feel any real sense of accomplishment because its too damn easy

    Entirely agree.

The whining got boring on the 3rd day. I bought the game on the day of release. I've lost 1 city that I'd only just started (and messed up anyway) and had a few rollbacks (2 were entirely beneficial thanks to undoing a stupid mistake and a disaster :P). Aside from the in-game bugs, that's it.

Ok so EA didn't handle the problems well, but I enjoy the game on the whole.

I love it, maybe on this forum 50 percent of us are made of sterner stuff, it's only a game after all. And I hate haters, am I in atari :)

yes I would still buy it again.  it's not as good as I was hoping it would be, but I have still played it an awful lot :)

the main thing I find frustrating is that I feel it has the potential to be soooo much better than it is....and obvioulsy all the bugs in it (which are now mostly sorted out)

I have enjoyed playing simcity 2013 so far. Ok its no sc4 as far as a city builder goes. Its so wrong you could just set tax low  and build 100% residential  zones. Too many bugs etc.

On the other hand I have really enjoyed building different specialized  cities in a confined space. It also made me smile when half of my city was full of queues of bright yellow taxis.(Bugged all flying out of one hotel lol).

Its still a decent game but no simcity 5  as it was made out to be. Hopefully they will really try sort out all the bugs asap.

I love the new SimCity, is a joy to play. 200 hours played since day one.

Hope they solve the bugs soon.

This is a very odd subject to apply this line of thinking to. Usually the whole "I'd do it all again" reminiscent hindsight-based questioning applies to life-changing decisions in one's past. Not the purchase of a $60 computer game.

Well after i reached 690k citizens in one city and had every possible upgrade, there was nothing left to do.'

Looks like im going to stay in Cities XL longer than i thought.

I would feel really really stupid if i voted for Simcity as the better game.

    That is dreadful.

Although the 42 against is not much better.

It's interesting to see the comparison between here and the EA Forum poll.

With all the build up and release hype, I think those that per-ordered will have a greater tendency to say "no". People who expected the game to be a direct follow-up, will obviously be disappointed by the end product. But playing in isolation, and ignoring the release problems, it's not a bad game by any means -- just not the SimCity many had anticipated.

Just wait until the modders get their hands on this game, then it will be everything they hoped for and more...

I remember when SimCity 4 came out, and I thought it wasn't that great and had a lot of problems, and each new mod that came out made it that much better.

This game is out for only a month, and I'm already having a ton of hours spent on this game.  Over time there will updates, bug fixes, larger maps, and the modding community will make some truly fantastic things.

Anyone who regrets their purchase is foolish and can't see into the future.

I would yeah, despite the games many flaws I do enjoy it. Hoping the next patch will fix most of the bugs that are still there though as I will admit they are annoying!

Yes I would still buy it. Certainly with Need for Speed Most Wanted attached to it.

Off course the game fails. But actually ALL games do. Not 1 game is perfect and not 1 will ever be perfect. We just have to live with that.

Also, I do like to see the story unfold. So, now, the game is crappy. And then 2 years later, it's almost perfect:) Each time we get something new, I am getting very excited. And each time I play, I stay excited.

No. I wasted $80 on the Digital Deluxe pre-order. As much as the game has a tendency to be fun at times, the price has gone down to $40 at times within the first month of release. It feels like I burned a lot of money away. On top of that, the Digital Deluxe goodies really aren't worth it at all. Maybe if I was more patient, I would have been happier with my purchase, but this Simcity is nowhere near what I expected it to be, and it's still not worth the money I spent on it.

As long as there's no multiplayer.  They wanted that as the mai ascpect of the game, so no.

I would have given it more time, till EA can fix their servers and agents, and etc.
