  1. I would like to join if you have any room. @Dankmn, Regional pollution has been bugged since release, it should be fixed in patch 2.0. Air pollution: Fixed a problem that caused the contamination occurred suddenly without any apparent cause; fixed the problem for which it is manifested regional air pollution double penalty.
  2. Well after i reached 690k citizens in one city and had every possible upgrade, there was nothing left to do.' Looks like im going to stay in Cities XL longer than i thought. I would feel really really stupid if i voted for Simcity as the better game.
  3. Will SC4 fade?

I never actually played SImcity 4, i only have Simcity 3000 and Cities XL so far. Yeah i know i got some catching up to do!.
  4. Signed up to say

Its also a legitimate argument to state that the launch so far has been a disaster,
  5. Online only, Online store, tiny maps and small buildings. Not to mention that your paying almost double price for a unfinished game. Im not surprised over 200 people voted yes, some people are desperate to try a new Sim City that they are willing to pay anything. If the price was 200 dollars for a normal copy people would still buy it Its quite sad. I think im gonna stay put in Ctiies XL, from what i have seen so far im not impressed.
  6. Micro transactions, Downloadable content, yes its easy to blame EA, but it is only here because we keep buying it. We all are really desperate for a new Sim city, we waited a long time, but sim city 2013 is not that game, its another expencive dissapointment that will only lead to more if you dont start thinking about what you buy.
  7. Cities XL 2011 Verdict so far

I like it much better than 2009, apart from lacking the ability to sell retail goods, you cant satisfy elites and retail goods at the same time, its impossible in 2011 at high density. it ruins the reputation of your city completely. Anyone that claims otherwise post a screenshot with high density buildings and high retailers, high density elites.

I think they somehow miscalculated how many retail goods you need for each building because its way off, my elites probably need 3-4 retailers along with executives to be happy, but max for each block when the retailer is placed optimal is 2 and that is excatly what i have 2 at each block, both are placed next to the elites as they require most. 9. Your Biggest City???

almost 300.000 i never managed to get further into online mode.
  10. Mine is traffic for sure, no matter how well i build my roads and highways and road connections the traffic will not even out even if the highway is faster.
  11. Cities XL single player hands on impressions

I honestly love the new singleplayer mode, sure i miss the online trading and friends to share with but other than that singleplayer mode is better than before. For people who say its not possible with the trading in solo mode, i am personally using the trading system in singleplayer and its doable but not a good way to gain profit, but to survive.
  12. Problem with high density buildings

Make sure you dont have any heavy industry tokens lying vacant in the trade system. When you have to many the factorys wont be able to sell its goods, so either sell them to a player or sell them to the npc city when you get up 5 tokens. This will get the industry going again in green profitability. This is if you have a good road connection to the industry and have enough populace to man the factories. Hope this will help you out. quote> thanks for the help im going ingame now to check the tokens.
  13. Problem with high density buildings

all my traffic is green, i have 2 rows of offices they just started working but also low profit. normally i sell some when they loose money, but its not supply thats the problem or the demand. I have all workers piled up in the same city, retailers wont work either. maybe i should make an area for each worker
  14. yesterday i tryed expert mode and started from high density, i had all workers and shops, they were happy, then i started to make offices and heavy industry, no matter how many there is they always loose money, all rings are green except the profitable, it happens to everything that makes money on high density. After i tryed on medium density just to test if it was the same, it worked on medium they all were selling just fine. plenty of all 4 kinds of workers were still available so its not because they lacked employes. Shops were also going down How the last industry lost money when theres so much demand i dont know. as you can see i have plenty of workers left. this is the only factory i have and it still goes bankrupt.
  15. The Burning Question Thread

I get a drop down box from the hotel button on top of the UI, saying i need more construction areas for hotels, i have tried to build more hotels, but the percentage doesn change.
