History Sandcrawlers, originally called digger crawlers, were huge mobile fortresses used by the Jawas as their transport and shelter in the deserts of Tatooine and Arvala-7. They were equipped with a magnetic suction tube for sucking droids and scrap into the cargo hold. They also contained cargo holds, scrap-processing facilities, and quarters for crew and passengers. They were large enough to fit an entire Jawa clan. Specs: The file contains an Jawa Sandcrawler. Plop it on flat ground (You can also use MMP around the model). Night: Maxis Night & Darknite (Choose only one) Maxisnite: Darknite: You can find the building in the Lot Editor as: AGC_StarWars_Vehicles_Jawa-Sandcrawler_P1_V100_90 (Prop & Building) Scale of the model: Real World Scale (I'll add a version scaled 133% on all axes later). Ubication: Landmarks Icon: Installation: Unzip the "Barroco Hispano DLCs" in your Plugins Folder (I highly recommend respecting my folder system because I plan to export or update thousands of BATs). Dependencies: If you choose the Darknite version you need this SimFox Day and Nite Modd -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now you can make voluntary contributions to support me in continuing to create more content for SimCity 4 (I decided to use paypal instead of Patreon because I want everyone to have access to my content). https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=WF9FDNHXCHDVU Thanks to all the (5) people who have donated to me! -
Are there any futuristic city building games, where you can build an extremely futuristic looking City (like coruscant)? Or do sci fi city building game not exist because it would be too difficult to program such an game?

From the album Planet Alderaan on D-Day
It was a sad day in Star Wars history when the Imperial Death Star showed in the the skies of the planet Alderaan. Never again will the sun rise on its horizon... (If you're a SW fan, enough said) A special thanks to ching67 for his planets mod which also included the Death Star. Yes, I always wanted this! I just didn't know that I wanted it until I had it. But seriously, if any modders out there are listening. I always wanted more Star Wars themed mods, and someone should make these happen. If I could make them myself I would. For example, wouldn't it be awesome if there was a random Star Destroyer in the sky once in a while, or perhaps some of these propeller planes were actually X-wings, but better than all that, wouldn't it be great if there was a mod to turns the blue tourist airship into a Millennium Falcon?-

From the album Planet Alderaan
The peaceful planet of Alderaan. Clean, green, tranquil but very advanced. That is until the Empire comes along with its Death Star and blows it up. This was done in sandbox mode. I think I could have done it with out it, but I just wanted to get it done and not wait for the money and associated pollution to come. -
Disney releases trailer. Movie release date in December.

Ultimate727 Thank you! slickbg56 Thanks dude tankmank It's been a while, hope you're still up for the pic Schulmanator Thanks juliok92012 Thanks a lot pinkindustry No doubt's there It'd be a heck of a view though! SimCoug Well, on-off activity really sucram17 Indeed, and you're pretty much right, only a matter of time before the city could be leveled ____________________________________________________________ So...star wars...a nice sci-fi series that I myself do like So I thought I'd have a little fun by making a planet in the SW universe, especially considering how expansive and large it is. The planet Nel Farum, more background information on the actual image links! Note: The picture was never fully completed and need more buildings and little futuristic extras as well as ships and shipyard at the bottom of the pic like the spaceport at Theed in Naboo. But I never got around to it cause it started to become a drag So it's technically incomplete and not how it's supposed to look...but oh well haha. Enjoy and be back for another dose of Randomness -- whenever that may be

Kim Sunwoo Lol, well thanks for the kind words Schulmanator I will! MilitantRadical Sometimes, I wonder what compelled me to use those horribly incorporated lens flares And thanks, it took a while to compile all those photos. It's been a long time coming from my patchwork cities of color to things that looked a little more presentable Mymyjp Thanks a lot mymy Ln X Thanks, I've always been dabbling a little bit into everything (gets boring just staying with one theme sometimes), and the fire stock image probably wasn't all the best nos.17 I've totally violated the sanctity of NAM. That was one heck of an abominiation. It's why you never really see much NAM from me Sexysark:P Oh god, Thanks Ultimate727 *o* Tonraq Yeah, it's a little bit of everything from the past, a little bit from things that never really went anywhere beyond stray foreign forum posts jmsepe Haha, thanks dude tankmank It just isn't as fun until you've tried'em all SylvioJ Thanks, it's been a fun-time trying to mimick all those styles Benedict Thanks Ben ____________________________________________________________ Just a quick tease for now. It's for a super-massive mosaic project. You might be able to figure out what it's been (or going to be) influenced by. So yes, it's another Sci-Fi scene. Y'know me The final product is going to be vastly different from this. There aren't any sleek skyscrapers yet That's it for now folks, come back again when I bring in a real bucket of Random! UPDATED: I have 1/8 of the full image depicted here (This is 1/4 of what I have pieced together/stressful and tedious to piece together considering graphical issues), and so far, it's looking okay. Here's a rather limited view of the city's cliff face. Also kinda gives perspective as to the size of the final mosaic.

It has arrived. So what do you think of the teaser? I thought it wasn't a very good teaser, it didn't particularly excite me, but I don't think the movie itself looks bad.

Disney announces ... What role will Andy Serkis get? I hope it's not all green screen and computer animation. I'd like to see him in a live part. As for the old timers, it is more than a generation since the original episode IV, so the star crossed lovers should be grandparents, or nearly and Luke should be the grand old Jedi knight in place of Yoda. Disney is famous for musicals. I hope this isn't going to be one of them. "Some day my ring will come"? Use the Schwartz?
