Hello everyone, I am spooky Zalost, I am a member of the user controlled forum team over on simmania, for those of you that don't know, Simmania is a smaller fansite that's been up since about 2008 and continues to go strong, it's currently run by Cheese but was started up by mayor M way back when, we've been through a lot but we still stand, strong as ever. we have our own BAT team called SBT (or sometimes SMBT) and you may have seen some of our stuff up here on simtropolis. this thread will serve to share the goings on over at simmania here over at simtropolis, for anyone curious the link to the site is here we have our own users who are skilled in a variety of areas over in the chatroom in simmania and they are more than happy to answer questions and help when possible, so please stop by and see what we have to offer, we are always looking to make new friends and invite new users to our site!

Let's ring in the new year with some automata, courtesy of the SimMania BAT Team!! Asheville Orion Diesel Bus First and foremost, a very special thanks to Gwail for the use of his "NYC MTA - Orion Bus VII" upload, namely the CNG model. Here's an old diesel bus from Asheville's transit system "Asheville Redefines Transit" fitted onto Gwai's CNG model. The bus sports the old color scheme used by the transit system - a maroon stripe on a white bus, with an Asheville City Hall insignia in the stripe. These buses were acquired in the early/mid nineties, and have recently been replaced with more fuel efficient diesel-electrics, and hybrid-electrics (possibly coming soon to a STEX near you?? ). A little information behind the details: The banner on the front is "Ingles", a major local grocery store chain in Western North Carolina and the surrounding areas. The side banner is from last year's TEDx Asheville, for those of you who are familar with TED talks and TEDx programs. "Tunnel Road" is a 4 lane road that leads out of downtown Asheville and heads south to the Asheville Mall. It's one of the more popular bus routes in the system. Pick one of the two and put it in "My Documents" --> "SimCity 4" --> "Plugins" "Add" Model: Yes "Replace" Model: Yes Dimensions: 256x256 See Readme for more istallation/uninstallation guidelines. The Simmania BAT Team (SBT) is here again with our 5th release and our latest BAT, the SBT Small Office Building. Inspired by more modern styled small office buildings, this features all around glass windows, and has a touch of improved energy efficiency. The solar panel rows help reduce the power consumption of this office building, and helps your community to be a little greener. This BAT also has a modeled interior, with realistic interior lighting that can be seen at night! The night lighting can reveal a few surprises inside too! This BAT has had many different revisions, to provide the utmost quality and detail from a team that strives for high detail and quality.
