Building not growing and not even plopping in-game

While my question is in regard to BAT, the BAT sub seems more like a showcase forum, so I'll just put it here, to keep it clean. Twas a silly, little experiment... The other day I decided to just open up a random R$$ Maxis building and edit it out. I opened the file, edited, plopped and rearranged the lot it was on and saved under a new name. Then, in the iLives, I generated new groups and instances, rebuilt the .dir file as you do, saved it and launched the game to see if the building appears in game. Unfortunately, it doesn't grow. In fact, I am also unable to plop it neither through "Lot Plop" nor the "Building Plop" cheats. It does appear in the list but when I select it, all I get is just a dark cursor with no building "ghost" being visible. Even more so, it entirely blocks out the cheat window as the next time I try to plop something, I am just stuck with the building's dialogue box, unable to return to the full list. I knew it's not going to be that easy! Anyway, do you have any tips on how I could correct this "BAT" and make sure it will actually be available in-game? -
I have SC4 installed with Origin. I can't seem to get the extracheats.dll working or the moneytree v1 working. No matter where I put them it doesn't work. And since its installed with Origin I don't have a Plugins folder. As I understand it should go into the SimCityUserData folder but that doesn't work. Any ideas?

Extra Cheats Plugin only works intermittently

I recently installed the Extra Cheats Plug In and originally when I went to right click in the CTRL X box, the cheat options showed up but now this only happens intermittently. Is there a way to ensure it works every time? -

Due to Apple's app requirements for Catalina, this mod is irreparably broken. See this post for more info. The files for this mod have been removed to avoid breaking SC4 installations. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- What does this do Enables Buggi's extra cheats for SimCity 4 on Mac copies of the game. Dependencies You MUST have SC4MacInjector installed or else nothing will happen. You must also have a Mac - if you're on Windows, use Buggi's extra cheats DLL. Installation Copy ExtraCheatsMac.so to your plugins folder. On Steam and disc copies this is in ~/Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins On Mac App Store copies this is in ~/Library/Containers/com.aspyr.simcity4.appstore/Data/Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins Create these directories if they do not exist yet. I'm trying to use the SimDate command in the Extra Cheats Mod. I have been unable to guess the format for a valid value. I've tried a couple dozen expressions, both with and without quotes. Does anyone know what the secret sauce is to set the date within a city?

This is a DLL for SimCity 4 that adds a few more cheat codes beyond Buggi's Extra Cheats DLL. SievertBeGone — removes all radiation from a city, including from buildings that produce radiation when plopped (such as the advanced research center). Chernobyl — irradiates an entire city hazmat — creates a toxic spill disaster on whatever tile the mouse is pointed at UncivilDisobedience — creates a riot disaster on whatever tile the mouse is pointed at. The mouse must be pointed at a road, street or avenue tile. The development thread can be found at this link. Source code can be found here. Make sure to follow this file in case more cheats are added! Installation Move to your Plugins directory. On Windows and the Mac versions on disc and Steam, this is in Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins. On the Mac App Store version, this is in ~/Library/Containers/com.aspyr.simcity4.appstore/Data/Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins Create these directories if they do not exist yet. Mac users: you will need to install SC4MacInjector before using this plugin. You only need the .so file, not the .dll. Compatibility Tested and working on 1.1.641.0 (Steam/GOG/Origin) on Windows and the Steam version for Mac. Also works in combination with SC4Fix and the Extra Cheats DLL. Untested on other versions but should work with any version of SimCity 4 Deluxe or SimCity 4 w/ Rush Hour.- 8 Comments

[Solved] Extra Cheats DLL loading from SSD

Here's a Howdy-do. With my new machine, which has an SSD as main storage, the extra cheats dll doesn't load or is ignored. When I right click on the cheat box nothing happens. The library is loaded without any subfolder under the plugins header. Anyone else have this problem with an SSD? If so, what is the solution? I have lots of rotating storage, so I could move the Plugins folder over to a partition there, but I'd really rather not because loading will be a lot slower. UPDATE: I moved the Plugins folder to a partition on my rotating storage and set a link to it in the user structure. The plugins loaded, but no joy. All my extra lots and such are there, but the DLL either did not load or was ignored. I am going to try moving it into the Program Files structure. RESOLUTION: That did it. I put it in with the sky textures in Program Files (x86)\...\Plugiins. I am going to put the rest of my Plugins back on the SSD. -
Hello, guys, what's up. My extra cheats.dll is not working. I can't do any of the cheats mentioned in the file, even lotplop or moolah. Can you please help me as soon as possible? Thank you.
