im not sure,and im not a guru.... but i would say "no"...and im prob wrong....sc4 is 20yrs old and already requires so many fixes and work rounds

I have had this happen as well, it had to do with the resolution being in 2k and not 1080p when I was saving the region. Only after I changed the graphics back to 1080p and saved it would the tile go back to normal. Hope this helps you

wow...i guess i really hit the nail on the head with my comments of frustration....empathy isnt youre strong suit or ppl skills....i never once demanded anything i never gave ultimatums all i did was point out the failures and the dying "sense of community" if you that hurts your feelings then one would think the opposite of your snarky arrogant attitude would be the perfect"hey i think you got it wrong or maybe we got off on the wrong foot"...but hey talking down to someone like youre their parent speaks volumes and is more insulting than your first reply....the fact youre comments come off as "you should be grateful im even giving you my time" and "its your prob not mine" is a perfect representation of why this is no longer the great community that it used to be... because empathy and low tolerance for problem solving are as great as the DMV it shows there really isnt a community anymore but more just a select group "that does what it feels like only when its convenient or they feel like doing something positive" I would expect this from an everyday member or some troll but from STAFF is perfectly showing some of my comments were warranted as for anyone else Ive tried all that RSC has offered and sadly they did not work( not anyones fault nor implies anyones ineptness) incase rsc feels it was a jab (im not that petty and I actually apreciate ppl who help others without the "you should be so greatful attitude" I aslo tried using windows troubleshooter and it suggested there is prob with compatibility with windows 11 and even tried to run it with all the different compatibility options.....Ive exhausted all i can think of and RSC apparently rather take jabs than help hope someone finds out for someone in the future i tried it tried to get help and did all i could good luck with anyone with this problem in the future aand if you do find i fix pls post

i have the same problem .....this site this community is broken,...i dont know if its a generation gap, skill gap, veteran gap, or just oblivious to new comers. this site is plagued with obsolete files, dead links, and without any real "heres what you need" place to go to. Seriously imagine you just found the glory of sc4 only to find two sites worth scouring through to enhance and streamline your gameplay only to find its pretty much like a flea market where you have to spend countless hours just to find maybe what you are looking for or even worse scroll though year long threads that are either outdated or just no one cares to bother with answering. i understand to a certain degree that with the lightning fast evolution of tech and software its hard to keep up with keeping up with and monitoring mods and tools i relate i do ....but seriously if this site dies pretty much sc4 dies and the other games will eventually die to because if the iconic sc4 20 year still the best game in the genre is cared for like a an old person in a nursing home then im sure the other games will fade even quicker and in 10 yrs or less will be dusted maybe the staff isnt in it any more maybe theyre comfy and the community is happy with their little niche group and dont really want new ppl or maybe this community has survived and is just burned out. heres some suggestions instead of being an attic stack community with no real"hey welcome to the fold check this out so you can really get into this game and its community" by actually having a staffer make youtube vids of a step by step progression from installing the game from wherever or steam then to critical mods to more advanced like modding or makin lots well of course they would have to have working plugins mods and tools first so maybe its asking too much this site needs to be revamped and all the endless pipes(dead links never answered or problem solved threads and tutorials and instructions that make building ikea furniture seem like legos instructions) and dust collectors(the stuff that has no need to be on here the dead ends) need to be trashed Look the new ppl that are going to be the new generation of this site are going to be younger and arent going to want to waste all day to find something or an answer when they can just join the other zombies and watch tik tok and scroll through instagram sc4 is the goat but fewer and fewer of generations will never know because nobody felt like mowing the yard and sprucing up the yard no tellin how many ppl were like "hell yeah sc4 or sc4 man i really enjoyed that game i want to start playing again" only to find its easier to apply hemorrhoid cream with your nose than to really get to enjoy this game to its potential thanks to the fans that have made it possible through communities modding and fixes(WICH APPARENTLY FROM WHAT I CAN TELL STOPPED HERE AT AROUND 2016)...and say forget this is frustrating and pointless ill play something else kudos
