  1. So, I developed the economy of my city, which means I could finally make it look pretty with the tons of spare cash on my hands. Then I realized that I don't know of a convenient way of turning the cartoonish, oval river banks into something presentable. I searched here and there, and I found some sea walls for download. I started plopping them, but it looked horrendous. So I was wondering, how do people deal with the extremely uncomfortable terrain of the regions? And if you have any tips for me.
  2. Wow, nice, care to elaborate?
  3. Being aware of the eternal commuter bug, I planned a tree layout for connecting the different cities in my region. But this is a little heavy on the central node city. So. If you place a railroad in cities A, B, C... Z - a continuous railroad track - but there are only train stations in cities A and Z, will the sims do the logical thing and use the train between A and Z only? Even if there are various job opportunities in the cities in between - B, C, D, etc.? Can the sims be "distracted" on their way? This way, the sims may travel between geographically close cities (with one or two other cities in-between A and Z), but without having to go trough the central node city. EDIT: No, apparently not, I tried with cities A, B and C, where city B is empty with only a single rail line in it, and the inhabitants of A failed to travel to C.
  4. "SFBT Urban Highway Set" missing from in-game menu

Nvm, it works, just like you said in the first reply, I had actually deleted the highway files earlier, so there was no mod, and I just noticed at this moment I reinstalled and now it's fine. Mods delete useless thread.
  5. "SFBT Urban Highway Set" missing from in-game menu

Thanks for replying, but there's no such folder and no such file.
  6. "SFBT Urban Highway Set" missing from in-game menu

SFBT Urban Highway Set had an .exe file, and I ran it. But I see no new icons in my menus, so I wouldn't know how to place a "construction" lot. I searched my Plugins folder for "MML" in Windows Explorer and I found no file with "MML" in the name.
  7. Basically, I installed SFBT Urban Highway Set and its dependencies, and the lots should appear in the Miscellaneous Transport menu. But when I start the game it's nowhere to be found, zero new icons.
