I've been meaning to make this for a while; a club for the few but dedicated base of UK players who are looking for tools and inspiration to build your very own Crewe, Sheffield or Horsham in SimCity 4. Being an American game, SimCity 4 has features built in that make it very difficult to make a realistic rendition of a location in the British isles. The default, ramrod straight roads, for instance, makes it a tiresome effort to build a realistic British street layout. Which are often crooked and follow ancient medieval alignments. Most of the commercial lots in the game, look entirely out of place in a British environment. However, there are ways around these problems. There are several dedicated BATters on Simtroplis and SC4devotion that create fantastic British themed buildings. So I thought I'd post a directory of various users and BATters here. Hope we see some excellent UK themed towns and cities, and more British-style buildings for SC4 for many years to come! armpit43 July 2021
