My Guides Introduction/Description (help needed)
consi replied to migamin's topic in SimCity (2013) Modding - Open Discussion
I understood. Thank you for your interest. Maybe a complete different approach is necessary to solve the guides problem completely. I just hope that all our community's modders find ways to solve all the problems about the game. -
My Guides Introduction/Description (help needed)

:/ Bummer. That's really sad. Can you adjust distances differently for straight and curvy road tools? If you can, can you pull curvy distance to a safe value to fit in two buildings? -

I agree the basic guides are really crappy. I also tried "Closer Road Guides". It resulted as same way as "My Guides". Curvy roads are a indispensible feature for modern looking sophistic cities so if it's possible i want to see 2 back to back buildings of all densities with a tightened gap between them. Your mod works excellent with the straight roads so is it possible to use different values for the curved roads tool and make it just a bit wider than the straight road tool? I can think about other basic solutions like check boxes to select the distance etc. But i want this road guides thingy fixed in an acceptable way for all styles of layouts once and for all. Addition: LD Street : 1st guide (2LD) / 2nd guide (2HD) MD Street: 1st guide (1LD+1HD) / 2nd guide (1LD+2HD) HD Street: 1st guide (3HD) / 2nd guide (4HD) The same goes for the "curvy roads" but differently the distance can be adjusted to safely fit in back to back buildings. -

Can you please make it possible to place 2 back to back LD on a curved road? Maybe you can make it just wider the curved mode tool's guides. It's really eyesore and inorganic to see those spaces between lots and it's impossible to fit them if you use curved roads. I hate grids... -

I can't stand the spaces between lots -especially on curved roads- and it prevents the dense urban feeling. Please make a mod which eliminates it and also give us some tool to fill the spaces with miniature plopables and concrete fillers like SC4. -
I really wish to see modding community turns the game around, implements complicated RCI dynamics, makes the region seem integrated if possible with bigger maps but i don't really know glassbox allows these and yet again i don't really know enough dedicated community members willing to do it after all this dissapoinment of the core players. I am sad for Simcity franchise as a player who played it since day one. My only and tiny hope about it, is tied to this amazing community's talents. Simtropolis vs. Glassbox.

[MOD Pack] Plop Outside City Box & All my others
consi replied to ProcsKalone's topic in SimCity (2013) Modding - Open Discussion
I hope to see this mod evolves to bigger maps and CAM stages as it was in Simcity 4. Plus advanced and sensible trading system in freight cycle would be perfect. Also advanced parks and square options with concrete fillers are my dream too. -
SimCity (2013) Official Mod Request Thread

The first and the foremost mod request of mine is development stages to be brought back. Three stages of change as low, medium and high densities are not even near enough. Simcity series have had that dynamic feeling because of the development continuity but now this one lacks of it as it lacks of a lot of things. Offline mode is about to be implemented so guys i always admired what you've done for the series and i'm sure you'll turn this boring game into a exciting one. Thanks in advance. An Addition: Also i really would love to see a system which have more freedom when placing parks and beautifications like plazas. I always want to make big squares and complex greeneries into my thriving cities.
