  1. Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a cajun taste!

The new oil tanks look great in that petrochemical complex, and the region views continue to be impressive.
  2. Sam

Clever writing and such vibrant pictures.... I'm noticing that today marks the 2nd year of when you joined ST.
  3. Ralston Metro Area

The dimensions are definitely very nice here. I'll say the same thing about the rail yard. Some nice views of downtown again, and everything else is excellent. I like the story on the whole College Church prohibition thing, as well as the three wise men Moe, Larry, and Curly... (having a bit too much fun with the back story, are we... )
  4. Growable lots by PEG... why I never... :)
  5. The Brastoval Bay Area

Everytime I see that picture of Three Gorges, I have to shake the disbelief out for a minute, not just for your great skills with the game but also how much is possible with this game now.
  6. Marvin and its upbringing!

The little district with the convention center and casino seems like some old industrial town that's desperately trying to have a renaissance of sorts to attract tourists and revitalize the city. The row houses are nice... I've been using them a lot lately. And just FYI... you dont need the roundabout plugin if you have the newest version of the NAM, which can be found towards the bottom of this thread .
  7. Branwen, Where nothing is as it seems!!!

Tours do take a lot of time to write up, don't they... . I always seem to miss your updates when you do something I really like, such as this (I missed all three parts of that tour until now!). I'm glad you got some inspiration from me, and it's nice to see others doing what I enjoy, extrapolated into a British perspective. And I did read everything, including things like community reaction and traffic volumes and how free flowing things are.
  8. Towne Bank

I love the work on the entryway area especially.
  9. Ralston Metro Area

I missed the first part, but I thought that steady zooming out was very useful for a nice varied perspective. I like the views of Greenwood (parking lot mania! excellent!). The mall is very nicely laid out, as are the surrounding developments. A nice mix of development and natural beauty there. In the view of Midtown industry, I really like how that highway is right next to the factories, as so many old urban freeways often have little to no room between it and the abutting buildings. That's a nice skyline too, with the re-appearance of the squiggle...
  10. Peterson Tool Specialties by RJM Designs

Great building, nice lot, and quite useful.
  11. Texture Pack 01 by RJM Designs

    textury goodness
  12. Metropolis - A cj by metasmurf

Such lush and vibrant looking pictures! There's so much to see just along the banks of that river.
  13. MONK

mmm... nestled in the hills... It all looks so cozy!
  14. Show us your most unique and creative transportation network!

From my city journal... 54 Freeway, Exit 14... a variation on the diamond: This next image is not yet ready for primetime, but it's a preview of things to come... the interchange between the 54, 67, and 346 fwys, and Brunswick Pkwy: Just a hint of what you're missing by not reading my CJ... It's never to late to join the fun! (/shameless self-promotion).
  15. The 2005 Trixies are being counted

I discovered this site last year right around the time of the Trixies so I didn't really know much about them or get to participate in them. I look forward to this year's awards and honoring those who have made this a great community.
  16. Isla de Sue

I haven't been here in a bit but I like the little map and that you keep showing us where we are. The newspapers are great (heh... bird flu... though I especially like the sidebar of Events/Travel/Weather). And the shops around New Kings Station looks like a great place to enter the city. Hey! 200th reply for this CJ here! How 'bout that...
  17. Hasegawe Museum of Modern Art

Clever and original, a very nice building and perfect for a modern art museum.
  18. My City: Clarksburg Metropolitan Area

As Nardo said, I like how you used the avenue and road overpasses to go over the rail lines and also over the adjacent surface street. Tours are always a nice way to provide a taste of the region.
  19. BSC Raised Park Request Set 03

I saw the request for this. It's really quite useful and realistic, as many highways are now being built as tunnels with a "deck park" on top. Thanks DW for this and everything else. :)
  20. Wood County - Rebirth

Yeah... I still do that... and I've graduated college I like the extra added lanes between 297 and 844 and what appears to be a single-point interchange... something I've tried to make in the game but haven't really gotten one to look right. The slightly edited signs look great.
  21. Heanor, my home town.

Nice start to development. That canal holds promise for future use and ornamentation.
  22. Aldara6166 Prop Pack 1

I like the dumpsters especially but it's all great!
  23. Anduin Valley Revisited

I do like the layout of the tram line, going through the plaza and ped malls, and alongside the streets. And then contrast that to the el-rail, set off to the side and enshrouded by foliage, with residential towers on the other side... quite an excellent setup, I must say. (With this post, I've been upgraded from Statesman to Mogul. For some odd reason I felt the need to document this herein... )
  24. Church Pack

Really great looking buildings, and nice idea to make it a tiered reward system.
  25. Branwen, Where nothing is as it seems!!!

For as much as I love your CJ, for its tours and maps and all that good stuff, it's amazing I don't comment here... I did entirely miss the last set of updates... This is a new twist though... motorway plans, complete with interchanges and everything! Intriguing indeed... I love it! Nice little blurbs of info accompanying each junction--I like the little experimental dumbbell junction at Locomotion Way.
