Do I need to have Terraformer or Mapper to upload regions?
Beefittytwooz replied to adambomo's topic in SC4 Mac Users
I am having the EXACT same problem as adambomo, and i have yet to find a solution. I know i am putting the region folder with the config.bmp and the greyscale jpg in the right "regions" folder, the one in documents, but i also end up just staring at my screen waiting for it to start rendering after selecting the greyscale.jpg in the rendering menu! -
Installing a Region Downloaded from the STEX

First of all, thank you for your post, as it was increadibly helpful to me! Anyways, i followed your steps, i honestly believe i am following every step without any mistakes, but when my region is loaded and i get the flat region as you mention in step 7b, and i open the window and i browse to the folder i already created, it simply does not render. I can find the grayscale map in the window so that's not the problem, but when i select it and click okay, it does not start the rendering, all it does is close the window and i get to stare at a flat region for 30 seconds thinking something will come up and tell me it's rendering, only it does not. Do you think you can help me? Even if you can't, i appreciate the help! -

First of all, good job with this bat, it's a great idea and you are indeed a genius... That being said, after about 30 minutes, i finally had all of the dependencies installed, as well as this file. Only to find out this was NOT compatible with macs. =( I was really happy when i found this awesome bat, while now i'm just dissapointed to find out most of the buildings and props do not work on my mac, therefore i can't use this bat! Do you think that there is any possibility what so ever to get those dependencies to run on a mac? I know you probably didn't make them, but if there is a way to change those files to work on a mac, i wouldn't know how to, considering i have no experience or skill at this stuff anyways... Many thanks, even if you can't help me, many thanks! -
can i have the link for the "locked" version that the other person uploaded? I wan't to see if that one will work because this one needs to be a lot, but it isn't. I would try lotting it myself, but i have a mac, and you need a pc to use the lotting tools. I would use the programs that allow you to run pc applications on mac, but you have to pay for them! So i am really getting frustrated, i have been looking for this BAT for over a year, i finally find it, but it needs to be lotted! Someone please give me a link to a better version... please!!!

I got the exact same message, after only downloading 1 file this day!!! I am starting to get frustrated, i know i have no right to complain about something i am not paying for, but i just started finding some awesome new mods i couldn't be able to wait a whole 24 hours to download!
