Witnesses say the cleric tore pages from the Koran and planted them in the girl’s bag. Imam Khalid Chishti had previously presented police with evidence that Rimsha Masih – a Christian girl believed to be 11 to 14 years old who may also be mentally disabled – had committed blasphemy by burning pages of the Koran. He was arrested on Sunday after witnesses claimed he had falsified the evidence. “The imam was arrested after his deputy Maulvi Zubair and two others told a magistrate he added pages from the Koran to the burnt pages brought to him by a witness,” AFP quoted police official Munir Hussain Jafri as saying. “They protested that he should not add something to the evidence and he should give the evidence to the police as he got it and should not do this," Jaffri said. Chishti allegedly responded by saying, “You know this is the only way to expel the Christians from this area.” Masih's arrest in August on blasphemy charges prompted international concern. Masih was accused by Chishti and others of burning pages of the Koran, an offense punishable by death under Pakistan’s blasphemy laws. Masih’s age is unknown, but she is believed to be around 14. A government-appointed medical board concluded that she is developmentally disabled, the BBC reported. The controversy deepened amid reports that the girl was not actually seen burning the pages, but was rather found with pages torn from the Koran in her bag. Paul Bhatti, Pakistani Minister for National Harmony, said that the girl was known to have a mental disability – supposedly Down syndrome – and that it seemed “unlikely she purposefully desecrated the Koran.” On August 24, Chishti told AFP he believed Masih was part of a Christian "conspiracy" to insult Muslims, and had deliberately burned the holy book. He demanded that action be taken to stop what he called "anti-Islam activities" in Mehrabad. "He has committed a greater offense than the girl by burning the pages himself and adding to the evidence that was given to him and he should get punishment," Jaffri said. Bail denied, family in protective custody Masih is currently being held in an Islamabad prison. Pakistani police denied a bail request on her behalf last week, claiming her release would endanger both her life and her family's. Masih's family has already been taken into protective custody. Masih’s arrest on August 20 sparked widespread protests in Pakistan. Christian rights groups called for her release, along with amendments to the penal code, while Muslim groups have called for the girl to be burned alive. Several Christian families have fled Masih’s neighborhood in fear of reprisals amid the uproar. The case has highlighted tensions between Pakistan’s Muslim and Christian communities. Christians make up around 4 percent of the country's population. Pakistan’s controversial blasphemy laws have also come under heavy criticism in the wake of Masih's arrest. The All Pakistan Christian League held a protest in Karachi on Saturday, demanding a judicial inquiry into why a mentally disabled minor was arrested in the first place, and for changes to the country's penal code. Demonstrators chanted “Stop killing innocent people in the name of blasphemy,” “Abolish the blasphemy law” and “Talibanization not acceptable.” Pakistan imam held in 'blasphemy girl' case A Pakistani cleric who accused a young Christian girl of blasphemy in a case that sparked international concern was remanded in custody on Sunday on suspicion of evidence-tampering and desecrating the Koran. The girl, Rimsha, has been held in prison since being arrested in the poor Islamabad suburb of Mehrabad more than two weeks ago accused of burning papers containing verses from the Koran, in breach of Pakistan's strict blasphemy laws. A medical report last week said she had a mental age of less than 14 and her case has prompted concern among Western governments and anger from rights groups who say Pakistan's strict blasphemy legislation is often abused to settle personal scores. Hafiz Mohammed Khalid Chishti, the imam of the mosque in Rimsha's area, who first gave police the burned papers as evidence against her, was detained by police on Saturday evening. "The imam was arrested after his deputy Maulvi Zubair and two others told a magistrate he added pages from the Koran to the burnt pages brought to him by a witness," police investigator Munir Hussain Jaffri said. Zubair and the two others, Mohammad Shahzad and Awais Ahmed, said they had urged Chishti not to interfere with the papers, Jaffri said. "They protested that he should not add something to the evidence and he should give the evidence to the police as he got it and should not do this," Jaffri said. "But they said Chishti said, 'You know this is the only way to expel the Christians from this area.'" On August 24 Chishti told AFP he thought Rimsha had burned the pages deliberately as part of a Christian "conspiracy" to insult Muslims, and said action should have been taken sooner to stop what he called their "anti-Islam activities" in Mehrabad. Jaffri said the cleric was arrested at his home on Saturday under the blasphemy law. "By putting these pages in the ashes he also committed desecration of the Holy Koran and he is being charged with blasphemy," he said. Rimsha's lawyer Tahir Naveed Chaudhry said the case against her was fatally flawed. "This development has created doubts and under the law, the benefit of the doubt is always given to the accused," he told AFP. "Now it has been fully proven that it was a conspiracy. We want that Rimsha should be acquitted immediately." Chishti, who arrived at court on Sunday blindfolded and handcuffed and guarded by armed police commandos, was remanded in custody for 14 days and will be held at the same jail as Rimsha. Speaking to reporters, Chishti said the allegations against him were "concocted". Rao Abdur Raheem, the lawyer for Rimsha's accuser, her neighbour Hammad Malik, said the development was intended to "spoil" his case and he accused the authorities of interfering. "They are pressurising the complainants and witnesses to facilitate the bail of Rimsha," he told the court. "They are making threats on behalf of the people sitting in the president's house." A medical report earlier this week said Rimsha appeared to be around 14 years old, which would make her a minor, and had a mental age below her true age, but the court has yet to decide whether to accept the assessment. Some reports have said Rimsha has Down's Syndrome. She is being held in a high-security jail in Islamabad's twin city Rawalpindi and on Friday a judge extended her remand for another two weeks. Blasphemy is a very sensitive subject in the Pakistan, where 97 percent of the 180 million population are Muslims, and allegations of insulting Islam or the Prophet Mohammed often prompt a furious public reaction.

That's just nonsense. It's actually possible to block maxis trees alltogether, i.e. from the god mode tree controller which I've also done. Heck, come to think it, one could even take out all FSH & S3D files along with the exemplar files and there wouldn't be any trees whatsoever. The OP wanted to REMOVE the Mayor Mode Maxis trees from the game which is not the same as REPLACING them with a GOD mode tree controller or using tree replacement mods. Of course, the only possibilty is to dig through the vital simcity1.dat and remove it manually or change the menu position to the bottom. But many lots in the game use the Maxis default trees so it is not practical... and it only takes 1/2 second to scroll down the Maxis trees in the menu.

config.bmp in your regions folder gets deleted after some time. Regions will still work perfectly but I have always wondered why the game deletes the file. There's a risk your cities will be deleted if you edited the config.bmp but it's the player's risk. So what causes the game to delete the file?

Nope region works perfectly. Is it just normal for the file to disappear especially if you have established cities?

config.bmp is missing. Region works perfectly but I find it strange the config.bmp disappears.

It replaces them with c.p.'s trees. And I think it changes the menu icon but it won't remove them from the game. It's impossible to remove the default trees since they are not custom content. So replacing them is the next best option.
