Building a more realistic highway interchange...
Androgeos commented on rewright's article in SC4 Tutorials
Not much of a tutorial if all the images are broken, but at least the thumbnail image is still there. -

You might think a desert would look boring, but noooooooo~

If any Americans dare to think they haven't progressed since the 1770s, they should be told to look at Philadelphia, or at least this entry. ...I mean, just LOOK at it. How is this not progress?

Waiting for the day they start calling NY The Tall Apple.

Good work, given the limited number of BATs on buildings in Singapore (yeah, we've had this discussion before). I don't have many recommendations for you if you ever decide to drop by. There's the Botanic Gardens, though, as well as the various hawker centres around Singapore. If you want cheaper food, look out for the latter in the residential neighbourhoods of Singapore - try not to have a meal in either the city area or business district near the airport as prices are usually jacked up in accordance to the group of people they serve (high-income workers).

This CJ entry is 100% British because it mentions the rain. London is a nice place the first time I went there. The second time I went there...not so much, because of all the barricades and construction.

Proof that Texas is more than just cowboys: this CJ entry. Is the Toyota Center logo part of the prop or was it added in?

poll NAM Packaging Redesign Proposal Poll
Androgeos replied to Tarkus's topic in NAM & Transit Networks
*polls* Mostly neutral on all the options, but I would support the new installer based on Tarkus' screenshot above, which looks like it has more space to describe stuff. And not putting diagonal streets and related puzzle pieces as a NAM default seems, for want of a better phrase, "a bit strange".- 29 Replies

What a sight. I don't see as much of Barcelona in Asphalt 8 as I do here, which is ironic because that game is developed by the Gameloft division residing in the city...
-
Having followed this CJ for quite a while, I still like your rural shots and setups the most because they seemingly defy the grid mechanics in the game. That doesn't mean your cityscapes are boring, though; they have their moments.

Welcome back! It already looks this good, and yet it's still not finished? I can't imagine how much better it'll look when it's finished.

The NAM is like a toy shop to me. Lots of stuff, but not much time and interest to explore all of it. I generally use a derivative of the baseline installation that includes the additional/custom bridges, diagonal streets and wide radius curves. On my last install of SC4, however, I started experimenting with the SAM and liked what I saw.

Honoring ST Members Who've Passed On (Poll and Discussion)
Androgeos replied to CorinaMarie's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Most of us knew him as just "A Nonny Moose" and I don't think there's any problem with him being immortalised based on his Simtropolis username and avatar. I feel it would only be a concern if we used his real name, but even that seems to be a stretch since some online communities do set aside a space for people who have contributed greatly before they passed on. And it's not as if this act will directly leak his more personal details anyway.- 38 Replies

These 100 shots of a replica Earth sends a powerful message, I would think. Don't dream of going to heaven; you're already there.

Those are some nice skylines. Just curious: how many props from the HKABT did you use for this Journal?

How big would a medium-sized city be on those mountain region maps?
