    theres one difference here between American suburbs and how the chinese will build them. As far as I can understand of their plans and how the chinese build normally, they will implement commuter trains into the transportation system. The Yanks did not do this, and now millions have to commute by automobile every day, polluting as hell and not very efficient. Let's just hope I'm right about this... take care,

  3. there is an animation on this site that explains how the building collapsed... it is quite understandable, that the building collapsed because the mountainside behind it pushed the building around 7m into the streets ! -so the building was not poorly constructed, but the mountainside was poorly secured.   24. The English version of the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten recently posted a small gallery of sceninc Norwegian roads, or maby more correctly road-sides. Many of them are currently winning awards such as "National Tourist roads" by the heritage foundation. here are some pictures: LINK to the actual page.
