From Grand Rapids and loving your CJ! Just makes me wish we had an interurban. Great job though! -
Hurigan International Airport for the city of St. Lyon. Still a city that's a work in progress. Parking and the hotels. Also the Hurigan arch, dedicated to General Mark Hurigan. Some of the domestic and private charter flights. The international terminal.

The city of Moldova, capitol of the region. It's on the back burner as I build my larger cities. Not sure what to do after downtown is finished.

The region of Plantation Bay, on the Plantation Bay map. The city of Saint Lyon.

Small RHW Cloverleaf junction?

I built this a little while ago: Still a bit unrealistic but it gets the job done. -
So far in SimCity I've created a region, tried to start a city, tried to claim a city, use basic mechanics, and try to get through the tutorial. Most of these come up pretty much fruitless. Starting the game, I see that there are no buttons except for the "billboard", the settings, and the apparently mandatory tutorial of the game. I see nothing wrong with a refresher so I enter the tutorial. The screen zooms into the dire city of Summer Shoals and that's pretty much all. No instruction comes up. No angry citizens try to have me help them, no advisors, no nothing. I can't even control the time. After a bit of fruitless attempts to get the tutorial to work I quit to the main menu where there is the only option of playing the tutorial. After restarting the game I am welcomed by a new menu screen. This screen lets me go and start choosing a region in a European server because the North American ones are still down. I try to claim a city but a message pops up saying I need to claim the city again, and I did. Again, and again, and again. I wait about 20 minutes and still the same results, so I leave that and try to create my amazing region of Plantation bay. When it was an open region it would give me the same message as joining someone else's region, and when I set it to private I finally claimed a city. After being happy that something actually happened, I tried to claim another city for industial use, and that worked too. But when I clicked on the first city I claimed, there was no play option. There was only the claim button and if I pushed that then a message popped up saying that the city is in a private region or it was already claimed. I choose a third city and immediately push the play button. I enter the city and open up the road tool to lay down my city's first roads. There was one problem though. There was nothing to select in the menu, actually nothing in any menu.I quit the game again and loaded it 10 minutes later and now I'm back to the tutorial menu with a broken tutorial. I know this will get fixed soon and that I will have fun eventually but still this is horrible. If your reading this and have ideas to make this work, sharing would be much appreciated! But I hope you guys enjoyed this and if you have any stories I'd love to hear them.

I guess I asked a bit late then. Too bad, it happened all day yesterday too.

Hey guys the problem is in the title. I try to launch from origin by and the "Launching Simcity Closed Beta" pops up, but nothing happens. Any ideas?

Is the idea for Grand Rapids, MI still around? There's plenty of great buildings to BAT, just wondering.
