Change building color to white?
gobrowns posted a topic in Cities: Skylines Modding - Open Discussion
Is there a way to change a building's color to white? Selecting white on in the Asset Editor or Painter mod seems only to return building to its original color. -

I'd like to build a large city with lots of assets and mods like the popular YouTube builders. What kind of system would I need for that? -

Does hard drive size matter with this game? Would 2TB run the game better than 250GB? -
What is considered an "asset" ?
gobrowns replied to gobrowns's topic in Cities: Skylines General Discussion
Thanks. Would color variations count as different assets? -
When Loading Screen Mod shows you the number of assets being loaded, what is it counting? I've noticed sometimes I'll subscribe to an asset and its several required props and such, and it's considered 1 asset, while other times I'll subscribe to 1 asset with no additional requirements and it counts as several assets. Any clue? Thanks!

Is there a way to level/raise water into land surface without it turning to sand where trees won't grow? Thanks.

How many assets do you run while playing? What are your specs? I'm mostly curious what the maximum amount of assets is, but figured this could be a good thread for general discussion of how many assets people use.

Map graphics look bad when continuing game
gobrowns posted a topic in Cities: Skylines Technical Help Q&A
I use the Cleyra Map and Theme and everything looks fine when I first load it, but when I save and come back to continue, the colors are off and the graphics don't look as smooth, especially along the coasts. Any ideas what's happening? Thanks! -

I recently got a new PC with Windows 8, installed SC4, and moved my plug-ins and regions into the proper folders. The plug-ins read fine, but the game isn't reading from my regions folder. All I get are the standard regions, and if I name a city, that change doesn't appear in that region's file. Even removing the regions folder altogether doesn't have an effect. I have a special region that I played on a Mac, then transferred over to Windows XP without a problem. Please help!
