Wow.......wow. I have no idea what to think. One part of me is saying: OOOOOOHHHHMYGODDDDDINEEEDNEEDNEEDNEED YESYESYES OHMYGOD THISISTHECOOLESTTHINGEVERY AAHHHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA But then another part is saying: This is far to good to be true. To be honest, there's just something about it that looks sub-par that it doesn't appear to be the real deal. It also looks like if it hit shelves the way it does now, there's going to be a lot of disappointed die-hard Simcity fans. Of course, I like everyone else, am all over this with great desire, but the pictures make it look....corny. SC4 was serious. It was real. And this had better be a step up from that. It has a hard act to follow, but there's no doubt in my mind that it can be pulled off. I can't wait, good or bad, I'll be first in line

I've noticed that if I have a city and then build another neighboring city, then the first city will have a huge boost in development, but not necessarily in commercial. (Due to commuters) But neighboring cities increase demand and development in existing cities.

It's cold, cloudy, and sleeting...just another day in Connecticut. In fact, I just got in from shoveling about two and a half feet of snow off the deck because I actually am afraid of it coming down under all the weight of the snow. Last night we got about 2 inches, and today and tonight we're suppose to get another 4. All of this on top of 2 previous storms that dumped at least a foot in addition to about 3 others that dumped over 5 inches. And this is only since January 1st! January 2011 is the snowiest month on record at Bradley International Airport! I haven't even had a full week of school since we got back from vacation on the 3rd! This snow's ridiculous...I don't see how anyone can enjoy living in it.....

I had the exact same problem with my old computer. It was a Dell desktop running XP. I recall the exact same issue, except sometimes it would work and other times it wouldn't. How I solved the problem was by buying a new computer and never using that old one again. I'm sure you don't really like that answer, but I can tell you it's NOT AT ALL anything to do with your plug ins because my issue occured before I even knew what a plug-in for this game was. My old computer is really a POS and it's not at all new, and if I had to guess at why it wouldn't run is because, like A Nonny Moose said, you're at the point where too much stuff is running and it can't load. I don't recall if I ever got the patches from the EA site on the old computer, but that could also be your problem. If it were that you weren't using disk 2, I think a box would have come up that said you weren't using the right CD. My issue was on XP, and now I'm on a 4GB Toshiba laptop and uses Vista, and I no longer have that problem. When I had the problem, I hated it. It was incredibly agitating.

I wish not to debate here, but I would just like to state my opinion. I all for the right to bear arms and I feel that it is one of the amendments that makes the U.S what it is, whether good or bad. I like my guns and I would like to keep them. If the government were to ban me from owning them, then I would feel that my rights are violated.

Wow, that's beautiful. You've got a lot of work ahead of you, but you can do it. It's amazing that you've got every building in the right location! I'm curious about the lack of avenues, however. But I must say, your work is amazing.

I'm not talking about how the dictionary defines it, I want to know how you define it. Where I come from, the highway is only has two to three lanes of traffic in each direction. (i.e I-95, which runs through town) I define a parkway as two lanes in each direction that only allows cars and no trucks. When it comes to expressway, I think about the great interchanges in L.A, where theres 4+ lanes of traffic in each direction. I would define that as a big highway, i guess. A freeway, well, I don't really even know, but probably similar to an expressway. A thruway I would define as 2, maybe more, lanes of traffic in one direction, that stretches from one end to a state to another. (VERY long, i.e, New York State Thruway) A byway, I always thought of that as an alternate route to a highway...or maybe a route around a city. (Like a ring around a city) And a driveway, well, that links my garage to the road. So, what's your opinion on these?

The definitions of these roadways clearly differ depending on the region in which you live. I'm from Connecticut, and here we have at least two parkways, the Merritt and the Wilbur Cross. Both are limited access and do NOT allow trucks, only cars. The Wilbur Cross is not a very scenic route, but the Merritt is. It is maintained by the national park service. In fact, it has a very interesting history. It is in fact scenic, whereas other "parkways" I know of are not. The Merritt is on the National Register of Historic Places, and was constructed with scenery in mind. The overpasses have elaborate stone work, and the barriers and landscape are beautiful. Unfortunately, it is falling int disrepair. It was built in 1938, and was a HUGE attraction. Families would pack into the car and go up and down the road to take in the landscape. It runs from Fairfield County CT to New York. It's only 2 lanes in each direction (and by the way, any limited access route I consider a highway) and is greatly over used. It's deteriorating, and losing its beauty because it's always so packed with traffic. Just recently, it was considered one of America's most endangered national parks. I'm playing CXL (Not 2011) and I was wondering what the best way to help an ailing budget was. I think I've done everything. I've cut some bus routs, increased oil production, and tore down a landmark, a stadium, and a highschool. If there's any other, better way of saving money, please, do tell. Thank you!
