  1. The answer to everything is NOT 42. It's brute force.

    1. The Avatar

I thought the answer to everything was violence.

    2. Terring

      Terring

Violence creates more violence and brutal violence will bring even more brutal violence

    3. Indiana Joe

      Indiana Joe

Maybe the question is violence, and the answer is 42???

  2. The My Little Pony Association of Simtropolis (MLPA)

No. Here's my excuse. REALLY doesn't help when you don't have a DVR that's set up and that you're nocturnal. EDIT: 42 seconds in, and the fun has been doubled.
  3. NAM General Support

Simply redo the installation, and don't forget the checkboxes for whatever you missed the first time.
  4. Corrupt a Wish Game (v4)

OK then, but you'll have to settle for a Pinkie Pie Chart. It's pink and there's no way to change the colour. Now, because I'm a NAM Team member, I would have to constantly remind myself. Can I wish for that inception joke to be negated?
  5. Corrupt a Wish Game (v4)

OK. One stomach pump to go. I wish people would understand that the next NAM version is 31, and that there's no decimal point in 30, because that's the total number of NAM releases to date. And Emperordaniel's wish.
  6. The Avatar Above Me v3

I'm thinking about two things: - The maps from Minecraft. - How the map from Dora the Explorer just got murdered. In either case 6.7/10.
  7. NAM General Support

Transit stations are not included. They're a separate download. I recommend this set of stations: https://www.simtropolis.com/forum/files/file/19866-ghsr-stations-and-hubs/ Be sure to download the dependencies for it.
  8. I just managed to count all the journals I ever posted on deviantART. It's up to 697.

  9. SOPA

Such laws, if they can be abused, would never be passed due to being unconstitutional, and if they are, they would be promptly be revoked. All it's supposed to do is censor pirating websites (hence the acronym having the word "Piracy" in it), that's all, and if that's all it will ever do (assuming that such a bill is rewritten to do what it says on the label, and given how most people don't read labels, let alone readmes), then there should be no need for fear. Or ignorance. Or panic. Or bias. Off-topic: Duke, give me a cookie. I read your sig.
  10. I believe the "materials" for NWM bridges are as follows: Single-tilers will be either OWR or RD-based, depending whether the network in question is OWR or RD-based. Dual-tilers would be based off of AVE. I'm not sure if it's the same for OWR-4 and 5. Triple-tilers would require a zero-slope method, and probably be RD and/or OWR-based. If dual-tile OWRs need the capacity increase, they could also use the zero-slope method. Everything else is just bridge modelling (Emphasis on models), pathing, T21-ing, textures, and paths.
  11. I oftentimes think the Earth is not in an elliptical orbit but in a zigzag orbit. It feels like summer again.

  12. The My Little Pony Association of Simtropolis (MLPA)

And I was saying this to myself some time ago: Most stories I find tend to be linear. However I tend to see things in such a way so that there are multiple outcomes and multiple ways to get to one outcome; Just imagine a straight line from point a to point b, with many squiggly lines all over the place that also connect point a and b, as well as others that lead to points c, d, and so on. I've only read a handful of fanfics/comics (including one percent of Cupcakes) and already, there are a lot of possible divergences I'm making in my head. Especially the ones that make a "It didn't have to happen" outcome are the ones that thrill me the most, and that makes way for a "What could've happened instead" scenario. Maybe I'm just evil. Or horrifically confusing. :???:
  13. How is it that the most interesting aspects of my life are everything that I can recall within a six-month timespan?

    1. BlondeTwiggy

      BlondeTwiggy

'Cuz you just now got interesting.

No, I'm joking. I don't even know you. But that is odd.

    2. Meg

      Meg

Life does get more interesting as you get older. Up to a certain point.

  14. We got seven hours left 'til 2012 anyway. (May vary by time zone)

  15. That would require going into my T21 exemplars I created and swapping out the prop IDs of the default props with that of the Peg props, then listing the Peg props as a dependency. Not to mention making sure it's all rotated properly. Having to download an extra dependency is something I wanted to avoid at the time. Plus, I prefer the default props.
  16. Better scratch the 6S part; That one's still unreleased (and probably awaiting a 0E conversion).
  17. Desktop.. Everyone has one of these!

Desktop as of December 2011: Minecraft and ponies have long since taken over me. However, the mess I have has stayed more or less the same. Here's my desktop from 10 months ago: I tend to make my own backgrounds, and they usually reflect what I'm interested in.

  20. Guess what? Much of the AVE-8 was already added into NWM v2, but it's currently deactivated because most of its intersections aren't fully stabilised. If you look into the NWM's DAT file, you'll find textures of the AVE-8's outer parts. It's pretty much in the same state as the NMAVE/NRD-4 was in NWM v1.
  21. ^ Seconded, and here's one of them that was just uploaded today. https://www.simtropolis.com/forum/files/file/27105-midrise-office-pack-volume-2/
  22. What Music are you listening to right now?--The Second Verse

Because I heard those songs when I was 10 off the radio; There's no way I could remember. You know how it's like when you've heard a really good song as a child but could never, throughout your life, ever identify it?!! I had that happen countless times.
  23. Real Highway (RHW) - Development and Support

That's because the current release of RHW is STILL in the old IID scheme. Also, Maarten (and Riiga) had to go through months of texture generation. You have to keep in mind that it takes months of work to process THOUSANDS of textures, and even longer to make sure they tessellate properly. The reason there are very few texture packs out there, at least by third-party groups, is because of the sheer amount of work needed to be done, and some people would quickly give up. Others simply don't have time on hand. And I'm one of those people who doesn't have the necessary time and audacity, but you could say I'm a lot more ambitious...
  24. The My Little Pony Association of Simtropolis (MLPA)

    Let me rephrase that,...
  25. What Music are you listening to right now?--The Second Verse

I don't suppose you guys have heard of Enrique Iglesias, right? It just took me an eternity to figure out that this song was by him. And this one.
