Very nice
4. Does this includes all the B.A.T.s that appears in the forum but not in SimMars, like those?
5. Patmos

Very nice map . For those who doesn't know about Patmos, here are some informations from Wikipedia: Patmos is mentioned in the Christian scriptural Book of Revelation. The book's introduction states that its author, John, was on Patmos when he was given (and recorded) a vision from Jesus. Early Christian tradition identified this writer John of Patmos as John the Apostle, though some modern scholars are uncertain. As such, Patmos is a destination for Christian pilgrimage. Visitors can see the cave where John is said to have received his Revelation (the Cave of the Apocalypse), and several monasteries on the island are dedicated to Saint John.
6. That's true Did you notice their red surface, with plenty of dust and rocks? With this style they fit perfectly on red Mars... but not on Earth or green Mars. My project is to replace their red feeling with a green one, by adding trees, talking Sims, fountains e.t.c.
7. Eden: The New Frontier

Update 22: R-Evolution "Evolution, of course, is not something that simply applies to life here on earth; it applies to the whole universe." John Polkinghorne I promised you a new colony, so here it is. This is Evolution-7, a square shaped colony next to Life-6. Evolution-7 was supposed to be an industrial heaven, but the plans changed and now is a typical colony. You can visit Evolution-7 by car, train or spaceplane. This colony has an new generation of arcologies, the redmids. A redmid in a red pyramid-shaped colony, that can hold even more Sims and jobs. The biggest disadvantage however is their size. Those buildings are huge! However we'll see them in the next colonies a bit often. Some of the next colonies may have only minorgies, arcoruses, mushparks and redmids. Between the redmids we can find the down-town of the colony. This is where we can find some of the coolest skyscrapers, the best hotels and the finest apartment buildings. Let's get out of the down-town and explore the rest of the colony. We will see parks, factories and smaller buildings here and there. Time to have a look at some other highlights of Evolution-7. This is a casino-like entertaining centre? Casino-like? As you may remember, planet Mars established the Resource-Based Economy. In this economical model, all goods and services are available without the use of money, credits, barter or any other system of debt or servitude. All resources become the common heritage of all of the SimMartians, not just a select few. The premise upon which this system is based is that Mars is abundant with plentiful resource, so any practice of rationing resources through monetary methods is irrelevant and counter productive to our survival. Without money, gambling should be a thing of the past... unless you're using "priceless" stuff, like peanuts and corn flakes This is the Conversation Centre, where Sims come together and share their ideas in new products, inventions e.t.c.. Yes yes, this is a tree-like stone-made statue, made by a street artist. SimMartians live sports, so stadiums are always welcomed. This is the Cosmic Opera. Inside we can hear a new type of new age and ambient electronic music, that also uses sounds of the planet Mars. This kind of music called "Barsoomian Music" and becomes very popular on Mars. This is the Temple of Righteous. Sims need to know what's all about "good", "evil" and "neutral" and if they truly exist. Those temples allows the SimMartians to use philosophy, science and other tools, in order to discover which life path is the best. There are many millions of Sims on Mars, billions on Earth and thousands on Moon. All of them agree that those worlds are round like a ball, but not all of them agree in what is "right" and what's "wrong". This is Lucifer's Nest, one of the most famous hotels on Mars. As you may remember, Mars established the Cybernated Government. Mars is a quantum cybernated society, where computers replaced the outmoded system of electing politicians, that in most cases represent the entrenched vested interests. The only purpose of this system is not the creation of a global dictatorship, but to elevate the spiritual and intellectual potential of all people, while at the same time providing the goods and services that will meet their individual and material needs. Here we can see the central quantum computers of Evolution-7. Here we can see the Transhumanism Interplanetary Headquarters. Transhumanism suggests the usage of advance genetics and cybernetics, in order to evolve the SimMartians from Homo Sapiens to Homo Superior. The laboratories are in both redmids. Evolution-7 is truly the city of evolution, from Human to Superhuman... and beyond. Time to get out of the colony. This is the graveyard of the colony. Here we can see the meteorological and hydrological research laboratories, looking for water and examining the weather. Just like in Life-6, some Sims prefer to live outside of the colony. And finally, the nuclear fission power plant of Evolution-7. And the silly picture of the day, traffic jam on Mars Any comment and idea is welcomed. A new, cool colony is coming soon. Stay tuned
8. Update 21: Life-6 is here, no teaser!

TowerDude: Thanks PirgoFilos . The city names are tributes to vital values that we need them, in order to live better. We need hope and faith for something better. We need logic to solve our problems. We need love to feel as brothers and sisters of the same Universe. Vital values for a better future Alejandro24: Glad to see that you like it . Almost all huge buildings made by Linkartist 003, while other buildings can be found in Sim-Board. The passenger train can be downloaded from SC4D and the freight one from Simcity Central. All those trains are additional. escilnavia: Thanks . Eden however is not the only SimMars C.J.. The colonization of Mars by gonzalo mrales was the very first 100% SimMars C.J., while Cities United Volume 1 (COFR) by Evillions also had plenty of cool SimMars stuff.
9. Update 21: Life-6 is here, no teaser!

PhotoBucket sucks!!! If you see many empty spaces, I'm sorry for that :rage: :( Check your comments for my replies Update 21: Life-6 is here, no teaser! "Everything in life is somewhere else, and you get there in a car." E. B. White Update 16 was a teaser about Life-6. This colony is the most dense populated colony and the only one that contain only skyscrapers and apartment buildings. This colony made mostly for Gens, but soon Bals and Cybs moved on Life-6 as well. Life-6 is finally ready. Time to explore the colony. Here we can see a farm, a bit northern from the colony. As we are going to the colony, we'll visit the industries. Next to them we'll find the garbage and water management facilities. In the south, we'll find an airport. It was the first spaceport of the colony, but now it works only as a small airport. Let's go east to see the rest colony. We'll visit a small commercial place, with shops and some skyscrapers just next to the skyscrapers . A cool hotel very close to us. There is also the colony graveyard close to us. And a bit more further from us... the nuclear power plant Let's get out of here and explore the residential part of the colony, as well as the central park. As you can see, Life-6 is the ultimate urban jungle. There are only huge apartment buildings, as well as skyscrapers. Not a good place for "village people". Because of this, some SimMartians prefer to live almost isolated out of the colony. They still have access to the colony, by using the MarNet and some jetpacks. But is not that bad. There is a large central parks, with plenty of civil services for the colonists. Here we can see plenty of schools, hospitals, railroads, stadiums, museums, domed parks, cultural structures e.t.c.. Garbage people, yeah!!! I made a joke, please laugh The very next colony will be the Update 20 teaser. This time, I'll try to hurry. Hope that you like it

15. Update 20: Oh no, new teaser!

Check your comments for my replies Update 20: Oh no, new teaser! "The still must tease with the promise of a story the viewer of it itches to be told" Cindy Sherman It's 2062 A.D. (93 A.T.) and some comets pay a visit to the inner Solar System. At the same time, the robots are constructing a new colony. My real life is a bit busy those days. Looking for a job, reading for December exams, working on a Simcity mod. Of course there will be some time for Eden, just don't hold your breath

17. Large Cemetary

Looks nice A good idea is to add a small church in the cementary, to make it a bit more realistic
18. BTT: 19 May 2011

Here it is https://www.simtropolis.com/forum/journals/988-valles-marineris-city-states/
19. Al Jakkab Sports city

20. 1 - The Introduction

Looks great
21. BTT: 19 May 2011

Hmm, I think that Valles Marineris, Alien Worlds and Dragon islands Cities deserves much more Just my 2 cents, don't bite
22. Nuclear fission power plants have some benefits, such as the large amounts of energy, but they are useless!! We are living in a planet that is blessing of energy (Sun, water, winds, geothermal) and we still use... steam power? Come on, nuclear fission sucks. Ineffective, dangerous, obsolete That's why I select I.T.E.R., the first nuclear fusion power plant. Way better, energy from the stars. Very effective and safe
23. L‘s Big Ferris Wheel

Looks cool
24. Software Studio

The green roof is brilliant, but I don't like the brown colour. I recommend you to make it silver-white for a more high-tech feeling. Also a good idea is to make the lot a bit larger, to add freight trucks and loading places. But overall is nice, I'll download it
25. What frustrates you about sim city 4

Most of the above problems solved by mods and the official patches. But the fire plane is still useless!! Too slow, too ineffective, this thing is just for decoration
