Well at least we won't have to pay to feed, clothe, and medicate him in prison. At least he had the decency to rid the world of himself, even if it was for selfish reasons.

He calls it socialist? Since when is a type of transportation "socialist?" Sounds like he's playing on the fear of Fox News watchers.

This may have been suggested, but what about GLR on one way roads? I see it all the time in Portland and would really like to see it in the game! You could have just one lane for GLR and put it in the slow lane and then you'd still have sidewalks.

I love this game! But it takes forever to turn any kind of profit if you only use passengers :P -

This is America. The unpopular opinion is not to be stifled. But seriously, the extremists burned down a building because of a CARTOON. What'll they do when they see us burn their book? -
Oh my goodness if this game turns out to be as good as it looks, I'll certainly plop down a twenty or two to buy it. And I certainly hope that Simtropolis will create a special section for it like they did with CXL. I can't wait for this game.

Hundreds of workers, but roads not being used!!
jeffsandychelsea replied to Akumos's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
If you have giant industrial (or any type of job, for that matter) districts, the sims only seem to want to work on the fringes of them. I try to spread out my industry in little districts on the edges of town near res. and always have little comm. "pockets" in your res. areas as well. -
Kingdiz_55's Airport Lotting Thread
jeffsandychelsea replied to kingdiz_55's topic in SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop
yes! now I can have a realistic pre fab airport! The AC ones were good for a while, but... eh they just don't look very realistic. i mean, i got it all the way upgraded and there was a jumbo jet parked there. but i couldn't think of a possible way it could have gotten to its gate without clipping its wings on other parked planes along the lone taxiway. >_>' -
Raceman95 is right. It's just a way of lowering the road without using a long straight decline.

Yes this is an interesting idea... Maybe it could have the stats of the tram but with a separate set of puzzle pieces. But.. You would have to replace the glr automata with a bus so you couldn't really use the trolley bus and the tram...

I would like to see some more options for the el-rail over road puzzle pieces. They are fine right now, but there are just some things you can't do with them. Another thing is that in order to make a track turn on a certain intersection, you have to use a "T" piece. I realize that this works just fine, but I would appreciate a curve piece over intersections just for aesthetics.

Are the Gowans going to live in a condo? I think they should, but that is if Mr Gowan got a job in an office building or something.
