I quickly discovered Simtropolis after buying SC4 Rush Hour. Although it already featured great quality content at that time, I got bored of doing US-themed cities with no terraforming or lot editing (I knew nothing about these things back in the days). A few years after, I discovered the LBT. Most people would say that the lack of realism, the graphics, the countless lags and bugs, the restrictions on the size of the map or the lack of diversity of buildings on SimCity 2013 are what keep people coming back to SC4. I personally would say that Heblem's and LBT's content in general are what keep me coming back to SC4. Few people are doing Latin American CJs, and as a Brazilian-born-Canadian resident, I take great pride in recreating this part of the world. I couldn't have done it without all that awesome collection that Heblem, TCX, Erjolog, Berethor, Victor Gonzalez and Patfirefghtr did. -

One of my best friend flew from Iraq with all his family after the 1st Gulf War. His family keeps saying that everything would have been better if Saddam was still in charge. Some people they know that are still in Iraq also think the same by stating that, it was difficult under the Saddam, but there was no such thing as these extremist groups in the country and they regret the period of Saddam. When you hear statements like these, you can definitely say that no one wins a war(except maybe some weapon manufacturing companies), like our dear Moose (no pun intended) said, ''There are simply bad and worse consequences for both sides''. Our civilization will never grow up. Primitive humans had better ethics than us..Someone stole you a woman from your village? We'll come to yours to steal one woman, nothing more. Nowadays we just bomb entire countries with 2000-lbs laser-guided missiles for the sake of ''democracy''. -

Well, definitely not a major city here, but very interesting: Neft Daşları, Azerbaijan The city on the sea. This is a town of about 900 people located 100 miles off the coast of Baku, Azerbaijan. It is located at the center of a huge industrial complex in the oil fields of the Caspian Sea. Initially, it was a set of oil platforms. The Soviet government then decided to interconnect those platforms and to later built a city to accommodate the workers and it turned this into a huge maze of roads. Now, Neft Daşları has almost everything you could expect in a city of that size: five-to-nine-stories high-rise commie apartment buildings, a power plant, a hospital, a school, a cinema, an open-air green park, a community centre, a bakery and even a lemonade factory! -
