Nothing says fun like crawl balls. This 2x2 lot adds a little color to a standard park. You can't really make it out in the first screenshot, but when you plop this lot, sims inside the balls are playing around. Jumping, swimming, etc. They're having so much fun, no one is going on the swing set. Monthly cost for this lot is only $2. Good luck, happy plotting. -

Obviously, this 5x5 lot was slightly inspired by the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia. This is my own little version to pay tribute to Simtropolis. This lot is only $1000, $50 for bulldoze, and maintance is $5. There is no pollution whatsoever. I'm still pretty new to the whole gmax and BAT thing, so if anyone wants to make a comment or give me a suggestion, I don't mind at all . Enjoy! -

UPDATE: FOUNDATION THRESHOLD DEMAND AND PARK EFFECT FIX - AUGUST 18/04 Hey hey! I'm back with another one... As the newest addition to Jule78's "Church" series, I give you St. Stephen's. Looking at the first screenshot, you'll notice something a little different about this one. Besides the fact it's a unique looking church (not an actually place - sort of modern design I made), I've also scaled the building down to a smaller size so that it would look perfect in a smaller city...or a big city...whichever you perfer, you're the mayor . Of course, keeping in tradition, the church costs nothing to build, no monthy cost required, and it's only $80 to bulldoze. Also, the church produces NO pollution, and there's low power and water consumption, and there's a landmark effect included. Night windows work, and for the first time, I played around with night effects...which I really hope you all like. As usual, the church can be found in your rewards menu. All comments are welcome, and enjoy! PS...Don't panic if the night lights don't work as soon as you plop the buiding. Just click on the night switch a couple of times, or wait a few minutes...trust me, it works . -

Your sims will go crackers for quackers when you plot this zoo-type lot. I have to say that I was slightly inspired by a real-life organization called "Ducks Unlimited". The name sounds a little corny, but I love any kind group that devotes their time to save wildlife. Yes, even ducks. Sure they're a little noisy but that doesn't mean that mankind should wipe them out of their homes with road development, etc. Lakes, rivers and swamp lands are sacred to our little feathered friends, so I've decided to bring a piece of the cause to SimCity. I used the zoo blank lot for this, with some modifications of course: Lot size is 8x6. Plop Cost: $10,000; Bulldoze Cost: $1000: Monthly Cost: $300. The plop and bulldoze cost are cheaper than the zoo, but the monthly cost is $50 more because, well, hey, they're ducks. We all know what they can do . And because of this slight price hike, there is no pollution! Yaaaa! This building will not replace the City Zoo. I took out the query "Animals Escaped....." because since the birds love this place, they get out but they keep coming back . For general looks, the lot has an almost park look to it with sims walking around and chilling with nature. There's also an aviary that sims can check out rare birds, and there's plenty of trees. So grab a bag of bread crumbs and enjoy! -

Does it really exist? Who knows. But in your city the Fountain of Youth is the answer to all your sim's health needs. This 3x3 lot can be found in your rewards menu for a plop cost of $30,000. A little pricey, but hey..."Health is Weath." Bulldoze price is $4000, and maintance is $300 per month (have to keep it clean!). Now before your jaw hits the floor, there's some goodies here. The reason behind the price is mainly because this fountain provides an excellent Hospital HQ boost to your healthcare, not to mention great coverage. There is hospital staff involved, but I like to label them as "volunteers" which means the extra help doesn't cost a thing. It's all in one lump sum. And you know what the best part of this little lot is? Not only does it boost residental and commercial growth around the area, but this fountain produces water, without any pollution whatsoever. Nobody knows where the magical water comes from, and that's keeping in the spirit of the fable guys. I haven't been able to make a custom query box for this lot yet, but if you all want to double check that all the above is true, just check out your data views, it's all there . Good luck. -

Cute little Xmas lot, with a cute little Xmas story... When Maude was a young girl, she lived on a farm with her family that was way out in the sticks. But living in the sticks definitely has it's advantages - the peace. For Maude, peace came with spotting a graceful lone buck from her bedroom window that would graze in the meadow. She fed the buck daily and she formed a humane bond with the noble animal. When Maude was old enough she moved to the city she decided to further her pasttime by going working in a zoo. One day by an act of fate she overheard a conversation between the chief zoo keeper and a gentleman that was desperate to sell a herd of reindeer. The reindeer were an attraction to some Santa Village, and it was painfully obvious that the "attraction" wasn't taken care of. The chief zoo keeper was a jerk by nature who didn't want reindeer in his exotic park. But he bluntly took the offer. Maude's humane devotion improved the animals' health. Just as things were looking up, the chief zoo keeper said he wanted to be rid of the reindeer for "financial reasons". Maude quickly got a loan and to the zoo keeper's surprise, Maude announced that she was quitting and she was taking the reindeer to a more suitable atmosphere. The zoo keeper sneered, "And what are you going to do? Raise them up at home?" Maude smiled and simply replied, "...yes". As she was feeding them outside one day, she decided to let a couple of curious kids take a peek. And just as she did when she was younger, she let them feed them. Word got around about Maude and her big heart, and it's become a tradition for adults and kids alike to come around her place to check out "Santa's reindeer" every year. On the side, she makes her guests warm Apple Cider to take the winter chill away. Happy Holidays and happy plotting -

Well, I was going to save this until St. Patrick's Day, but it's too far off to wait. This is a 5x5 R$ lot that will give your sims a taste of the old country. I've never been to Ireland, but the houses reminded me of what they would look like over there, complete with a stone road down the center. There's no plop or monthly cost. There's only a small bulldozing cost of $20. It houses a maximum 90 residents. So raise a glass of Guiness as I salute the Irish...er, almost two months early. Good luck! -

Everyone dreams of having a career doing something they were born to do. And I'm sure we've all been in a rut from time to time (particularly after high school) on what goals to reach with our talent and skills. While some are successful with achieving motivational security, some have a more difficult time. For those unfortunate few, it can be a great discouragement due to anything from someone's stinging opinion, lack of money, lack of resources, or even simply lack of motivation. Career Builders Inc. hopes to turn that around for sims caught in that sort of distress because this school understands that before job income, the most important aspect is personal wholeness. Teachers at CB Inc. show sims that when it comes to talent, skills and careers, the sky's the limit. From a personalized survey of the student, teachers will individually work with sims to increase their motivation in whatever career choice the sims will find most desirable. Teachers offer courses on how to build impressive resumes and bi-weekly job fairs are scheduled at the school to help the students gather all the information they need to pursue those careers. Courses are also provided by the school to improve a student's overall GPA after high school, Everything from Art to Zoology. But the all around purpose of Career Builders is to motivate the students easily towards their careers. You'll never hear "Can't" here. No discouragement, no pressure, just progress. That's what matters to this school. To reach your goals, these freethinking teachers show you how to be positive and STAY positive about you talents. -

Anyone who's ever gone on a field trip as a kid knows what I'm talking about as I introduce this lot... The Space Museum is the second modded lot that I have made and it's a great addition to the rest of the museums in the game. This place is awesome for adults and kids alike to come and learn about the universe. Also, they learn about the great figures of our time with dozens of exhibits devoted to astronauts like Neil Armstrong, John Glenn, and Al Sheppard- to name a few. There is also many exhibits focused on our solar system, and not to mention an exhibit exploring the UFO phenomenon. Outside, tour guides and teachers pass out various pamphlets about what's inside, and for the kids, a free book..."Timmy Wants to Become an Astronaut". Also there is a series of monuments outside the building that pay homage to astronauts who have died tragedically during space missions. Lest we forget. Good luck and happy plotting. PS...I think this works nicely with the space port. -

After five hours of rendering (whew), I finally have a new house of worship to share. The lot is 3x6, with high detail and nightlights that can be found in your rewards menu. There is no plop or monthly cost. There is only a bulldoze cost of $200. I'm not sure why I feel this way, but I'm not totally satisified with this building, and unfortunately I deleted the model in gmax (d-oh). So stay tuned for updates or a possible second version when I can find the time. All comments are welcome, enjoy guys! -

Hello again. Here's a new type of church for everyone. It's a small one that will fit in anyone's city or town. It actually looks a little bit like a community center too. Anyway, the components of the BAT are the same as the default churches in the game...and the other churches I've made. No plop cost, no monthy cost, and bulldozing is $80. Night lights, park, and landmark effect included. Enjoy! -
