  7. Big Breakfast is watching you!

I like this type of art I don't think it's creepy at all.
  8. Got my polaroid to work!

Zelgadis: I'v e wondered about this myself. How much more clearer can video technology get before it cannot get any clearer? Technology is a two-edged sword; on one hand, medical technology is wonderful. You can take a pill now to cure what would have killed you a few generations ago. On the other hand, I used to take pictures with a 35mm camera of staged outer space scenery (asteroid fields, planets, ect.) in wusiwyg (what you see is what you get) format, and many of them turned out better than I expected. That was challenging and fun, what with trying to hide model stands, work in a dark basement in only flashlight light, leaving the lens open for minutes on end, ect.(this makes me want to go take a look at them again). A Lack of technology can really spur creative problem-solving techniques Another example is found in astronomy. Astrophotographers were going to throw out all of the original glass plates of the space photographs taken by telescopes, unitl a battle was waged to save the old glass plates. The reason? Man-made and/or natural disasters. Even though those plates were converted to DVD and other modern media, if that media were no longer available to access those DVD's due to the 'grid going down', people could still look at those plates with their eyes, the original visual technology. Interchange: Great pictures!

  10. What's going on?

I'm wondering about the fact that there is no demand for industry or commercial. What are your taxes set at for those?

Well, he does combine both Trixies and chocolate

Chocolate foods I eat are: Chocolate Malt-O-Meal Starbuck's hot chocolate (I like their in-house brand better than their Godiva) Cafe Mochas Reese's peanut butter cups (may have to stop those for a while, for obvious reasons) 100% pure cocoa bars (one small square of a bar for dinner at nights) I prefer dark chocolate over white chocolate. In fact, the darker the better One tradition I have is my chocolate Sundays: After church, I go to Barnes & Noble and have a Triple chocolate chunk cookie and a large-sized chocolate chip blended cream. I've got to get some of those chocolate oranges I used to work for a catering company that made different salads, some of them being Snicker's salad, Oreo Cookie salad, and chocolate fluff. In our kitchen, we had counters with bottom shelves where we kept the boxes of broken up Snicker's bars and crumbled up Oreo cookies. I used to work alone there at night.
  15. What are you reading?

I am now reading Graphic Design Solutions by Robin Landa. It covers many aspects of graphic design, with lots of illustrations and examples. It is a good follow-up to another book I've read called Design Basics by David Lauer and Stephen Pentak.
  16. City Layouts

I usually prepare the terrain first, then start with a power station, maybe a water tower (depending on whether or not I'm using a money cheat), and a few industrial zones. I place a few light residential zones a short ways away from the industrial ones, leaving space between industrial and residential zones for future commercial zones or trees. As developement proceeds, I begin to place parks, ponds/streams, and create fused grids, like thus: ssssssssCGCsssssssssss sRRRRRRGGRRRRRRRR s sRRRRRRGGRRRRRRRR s sRRRRRRGGRRRRRRRR s ssssssssCGGCssssssssss where s=street C=coal-du-sac (There's a mod for this) G=Green spaces (Parks, trees, playgrounds, ect.) R=residential zones Mind you, this is a crude (but hopefully helpful) example. BTW, cubsfan0624, welcome to ST! Enjoy the game and the site

Another minor Star Trek Alumnus has also (in 1977) passed: Cyrano Jones (Stanley Adams) . Jones brought the tribbles to Space Station K7 in "The Trouble With Tribbles." Ironically, Adams was also in the movie "A House is not a Home" with Rodger Carmel. Some Star Trek fans thought that "The Wrath of Khan" should have been made as Star Trek's 'renunion' movie instead of "Star Trek: the Motion Picture" because "Wrah of Khan" was much better overall. Also, there was some talk of having Harry Mudd be the villan in Star Trek II, but Paramount wanted a more violent villan, as Mudd, annoying as he was to Kirk & company, was not bloothirsty like Khan was.

It'll make a nice edition to my cities. Thanks!
  22. Lafayette Square Fountain

I like how you made sure each of the trees in the corners were not exactly the same. It makes it look more realistic. The fountain looks classy while to overall design is clean.
  23. Aqua Plaza

I just downloaded it. It looks go.
  24. Zen Fountain Park
