Nothing happens when I press alt anymore, there is no purple and the airport states it accepts both local and outside after placing or re-placing with alt . Maybe the keymapping has changed?

The city of Lienne, custom taxi and runway surfaces
Leeijo replied to Leeijo's topic in Cities: Skylines City Journals
Thanks! Do you mean the ones out to the ferries or the bigger ones between the terminal parts? Vasimr22 has a lot of really good stuff! Smaller ones: http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=934353519 The bigger one: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=913830059 Btw. Always a need for more diversity soo go ahead and make them anyways- 22 Replies

The city of Lienne, custom taxi and runway surfaces
Leeijo replied to Leeijo's topic in Cities: Skylines City Journals
I agree! To bad though that the textures on that one is of really low quality, screenshots will have to be at a distance. We do need some better ferries and ferry props (*hint* to our awesome modders!) Meanwhile, the shuttle ferry part of the harbor is more or less done:- 22 Replies

It's been a while, but I've been creating the main harbor. And as always, I tend to make the projects to large... Anyway, it is starting to become something:- 22 Replies

Thanks! I knew it felt familiar, I actually have seen it before but rejected it because of larger footprints. A shame really, I'll have to think about it again I guess...

Most of the recent work has been to the infrastructure, not that much to show in other words. An overview of the project will have to do. Currently Lienne is at roughly 210k.- 22 Replies

The city of Lienne, custom taxi and runway surfaces
Leeijo replied to Leeijo's topic in Cities: Skylines City Journals
Madison district, west of the city, is wedged between freeways and major roads and with the split of the main westbound rail trunk cutting through the district. This area was previously sparsely used with a big interchange that was rebuilt in the recent urbanization. It now consists of a large, modern, housing area, Lienne's biggest bus depot and a cargo station.- 22 Replies

Some areas are starting to become finished and will be featured in the coming entries. Here are some teasers... We start at the town of Maple on the East Coast. East bay suburbs. Moving around the bay to Symia... ... and on to the suburb of Anora. Next to is one of the bigger satellite towns, Lafayette. We are now within the city bounds, in the district of Hull. The central station in the night. On the west side of the center we find Concord Square. Which is neighboring the city's big international airport.- 22 Replies

I don't know what to do. All of a sudden tonight, after rebuilding a part of my city core i suddenly started getting out of bounds exceptions that don't stop. Everything was running fine for a while, but then in the middle of the night they started. I tried with an older save, but the same thing happens at the middle of the night in game. Clearing all traffic helps for a short while, but then it starts again. In the log there are exceptions from MOM and from the TrainAI. I removed all driving metros and that also helped for a short while but it soon comes back again. I don't know what to do here output_log.txt

Never ending array out of bounds
Leeijo replied to Leeijo's topic in Cities: Skylines Technical Help Q&A
The problem seems to have been caused by a station, although there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the station itself. Since most messages were with TrainAI I started to remove train components and stations and removing one specific station solved the issue. Building the same station in the same place again works though. It seems like something in the traffic AI broke and not a mod or asset specifically. The game is heavily modded so there is no good way of knowing if a mod is root cause. -
Let's keep a list of which mods break with MT
Leeijo replied to AmiPolizeiFunk's topic in Cities: Skylines Modding - Open Discussion
For trains yes, but not for airports or harbours. I know there are ferries now, but a lot of good harbour assets to build ferry routes are still only available as harbour. And without the mod working there is no way to create small airport terminals that are only used for local airline routes. They will now also receive all the big international planes...- 68 Replies

@boformer. Any chance of a fix for local only stations? It doesn't seem possible to use alt anymore to place for instance local only airports and I can't find anything that replaces the functionality...- 68 Replies

I was looking at that actually but it doesn't seem to work properly with Move-It among other mods, at least not with the ones plopped outside of the count. Not sure that is an option actually. Thanks though!

I would never expect anything from all the awesome modders of this game. Your work is what makes this game great and all of us are thankful for the time you put into it! Good to know there at least is a possibility for it, I think the fake slabs will be enough to remove for now to finish it.
-
Have been finishing my really big airport project using alot of your awesome props. One of the most central for one concept is the ploppable asphalt together with @Lost_Gecko's concrete walls. Unfortunately I ran into a problem with prop count One of the most numerous is the ploppable asphalt. Any chance for a bigger version?

[Delta ²k5]'s "Chop Shop"
Leeijo replied to Delta2k5's topic in Cities: Skylines Modding - Open Discussion
This is something that some of us are longing for, sounds really good! One thing I have found myself desperately looking for are some more narrow buildings that are suitable for long and narrow concourses that you often see. I eventually found a vanilla office building which was the closest. Still looks a bit odd, but as you say, most airports are not built to be aesthetic so it kind of works. Another thing I would really like are some taxiways without lights for connecting things close to the terminal which can become cluttered with lights. The yellow paths you can cover up but the lights are still there making it look a bit strange.- 20 Replies
