By saying 'Lovely Site', I believe you mean Simtropolis.com. All files on the STEX are .zip files. You have to extract the files in these .zip files into the 'Plugins' folder of Simcity 4. The following two paths are where you will find the 'Plugins' folder on your system. My Documents\Simcity 4\Plugins Program Files\Simcity 4\PluginsMany .zip files contain a 'readme' file which mentions where you have to extract the .zip contents. If there is no readme, you can extract to any of the above mentioned folders. The choice is yours! Hope this helped! If not, you can always PM me. EDIT: A Warm Welcome from me too!!

Cleaning Services (organic residues)

You've got a point there . No city is complete without it's own 'complex' sewer system . -
how can I make download lots and BATs have light at night?
KoolSIM replied to wubo223's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion

A dual combination of both Motor-ways and Mass-Transit is my suggestion. I design my transport systems in certain ways such as to favour Mass-Transit.

Though the Landscape Designer is a wonderful tool, I would rather prefer terraforming one square at a time. In fact, I would suggest simmers with high memory PCs to terraform one square at a time. -
Is there a guide to effective city planning about?
KoolSIM replied to asteconn's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
There is a great Simcity 4 Game Guide by thy451 at the following link: http://db.gamefaqs.com/computer/doswin/file/simcity_4_a.txt Unfortunately, it doesn't contain Rush-Hour concepts, but it is still worth a read. -
In the early stages of city-building, a Tennis Court or a Farmer's Market can be a great demand cap reliever.

You need the Simcity 4 : BAT Update. If you are a registered game user, you can download the patch from here. http://simcity.ea.com/downloads/getfile_pri.php?filename=SC4Update4BAT.exe After downloading, just install the patch.

Thanks for the link mudspreader . It was really helpful for me. And about the 'download' discussion, joeynymets probably meant that he 'installed' Photoshop. I don't know why but many people on the BBS of many websites mention the word 'download' for 'install' .

The message is really funny!! I would love to see such messages in my game once in a while. I have never had it yet though!

I don't understand what do you mean by 'Off-the charts' . If you mean huge demand, then just create more residential zones. Give them good facilities and excellent transport to the job areas. Slowly as residential zones grow, the commercial and industrial demand will come up too. It happens sometimes. Maybe you need a new neighbour city. Try it!

Ya! Even I have not noticed any land-rises or depressions.

Amazing! I never new that such a message existed in SC4. Well, Congratulations!!!
