Perth, Western Australia:

Might as well show these before the new buildings are complete around the CBD area.

These two were taken from south perth, across the river

Perth_Skyline.jpg

Perth-Skyline.jpg

This was taken from "kings park" which has a great view of the CBD and the swan river, and freeway.

I gotta say, that tallest building there (the one with the green vertical lines) is one of the coolest highrises I've ever seen! What's the name of it?

The rest of the city don't look too bad either!

I don't live in a "city", so I can't really show pics. The tallest building in our town is 4 stories, besides the water tower. 3.gif

Behold! The magnificient skyline of the grand city of Aarhus!

prism.jpg

librarytower.jpgcathedrald.jpg

Well. It's really not much of a skyline, I know. But it's all we got here in Aarhus. Until the blue tower in the first pic was erected a few years back, the tower of the church actually was the tallest building in the city. And the tower in the second picture is actually full of books, it's called the "Book Tower".

Appleton, WI!

Home of Harry Houdini and houses the world's first electric-powered building and hydroelectric power plant!

File:Appletonskyline.jpg

We also have one of only three rivers in the world that flow north to south. Amazing!

The big building on the left is the 222 Building(obviuosly), the large building in the middle with the solar panel is the Appleton Center. The one on the right is the Zwelke Building. (Zil-kee) The buildings in the foreground are the various paper mills and hydroelectric plants that make our city profitable. BTW, that large grey TV piece is connected to a building BEHIND the 222 Building. It's not part of the Appleton center. Thanks for taking the time to read my somewhat long post.2.gif

I dont live a in a huge metropolis but I do believe that my home city of Edinburgh, Scotland which has a population of about 470k has one of the most beautiful skylines ever!!!

There's not many cities that have a massive castle right in the centre dominating everything around it. 9.gif

I know that other Chicagoans have shared some photos of our fine city already. I can't help but share some of my own Chicago love with you. I took all these photos last Spring and Summer. Enjoy!

I live in Toronto.. We consistently get ranked in the top 5 best skylines in the world annually. With the addition/remodeling of the CN Tower lights the former world's tallest structure is now a giant jumbotron that gives awesome lightshows at night.

This is a shot from my balcony :

someone should redo the CN Tower in SC4 to include the light shows!!!!

I live in Elk Grove, Directly SOUTH of the capital. (it was the fastest growing city in the US for a two year period)

If you want Elk Grove's skyline, (it's the large mall [old navy] and the larger inns{most of the taller buildings in EG are inns}) here it is:

It's funny that Sacramento was brought up just before mine.

Here is my 2 hometowns Visalia and Fresno the worse area to live in. I mean the worst. We are just a few hours south of Sac-Town

800px-Visalia_Acequia_Ave..JPG

Visalia, CA.

Do you see the tallest building on the right. It's the newest wing attached to the hospital. That is the tallest building in Visalia, it's 6-stories high, but it's about as tall as a 10-story building (from what I hear).

And Fresno, CA.

Well here in Ronse there isn't much of a city skyline with 25 000 inhabitants but there are some nice panoramic views.

Houston, TX, USA

Houston_from_Freeway.jpg

The skyline here is extremely spread out, so it's difficult to find a good pic. There are 3 major skyscraper areas in the city with high rises scattered all over the urban area inside the loop.
